  1. Hi everybody; I'm pretty new to messing around with Skyrim mods (don't get me wrong, I've been using them for years) - I'm starting to play with it because the 250 mod limit is kind of annoying. I've watched two different YouTube tutorials on merging mods, and felt super lost when I did. I don't understand WryeBash. I do know that I enjoy Andromeda, Ordinator, Imperious and I haven't really used Apocalypse Spells yet. If I use TES5Edit, can I just combine the ESPs into one file and be done with it? On a related note, can I simply do the same with simple equipment mods? Or will I be skipping steps that are essential to making everything work how it should?
  2. I think the textures I was looking for were just in a folder I wasn't expecting them to be in.
  3. Tried changing ice_plains.mod to ice_plains.adv, and Djinni doesn't recognize it with the other normal .adv files (same with the other .mod files to .adv I changed). Do you have to use a special program? Running Windows 10
  4. Sorry to bump this again, but I am very frustrated because I'm trying to find .uti files and texture files for a wider variety of swords and armor than what I'm seeing. I am able to view .uti files for m0_it_stlswd01 - m0_it_stlswd06 and m0_svswd01, as well as m0_it_witcharm01 - m0_it_witcharm04. None of this was unavailable to me before trying to use UnBif, which I still haven't been able to get to work despite following the directions and running in Administrator mode. Send help! Edit: I decided to try running UnBif in compatibility mode for XP Service Pack 3, and I believe it worked. Second Edit: I still think it hasn't extracted all of the item textures.
  5. Are we supposed to write our own key? Is there one we can download? I'm reading KEY BIF V1.1 Format on the Witcher Wiki and I am only more confused Edit: We already have keys in the folder... Second Edit: Trying to Extract textures00.bif and textures01.bif, and I'm selecting all of the keys, but nothing is extracting to the folder I chose.
  6. Hey everybody, another noob question! I really like the Complete Sword Overhaul, and I love the sword Narsil. What do I have to do to switch the Narsil sword (steel YYY) with another sword's models and textures? Trying to decide which to make between Ard'aenye or the Mahakaman Rune Sihill into Narsil.
  7. Thanks so much! I've stolen assets from other people's created my first two personal mods! I used your wolf mod and the meditation & more mod, and I used the hair from the Native American mod and used gimp to modify warrenhoffman's Geralt of Rivia face retexture to create a fairer-skinned Geralt (took me awhile to figure out why shadows weren't working; had to pay attention to the mipmaps). I'm actually thinking about messaging the authors of those two mods for permission to upload, but considering that I've basically done completely minimal work, I doubt I will.
  8. I am trying to combine two mods so that I can use both of their custom scripts at the same time. From what I understand (unless I'm wrong), when Djinni compiles the NSS file after I edit it it will be compiled into an NCS file, correct? This seems like it would be straightforward for the files named customscript.nss & customscript.ncs, but do I have to handle def_arealoaded in any special way? The specific mods I'm trying to combine are Meditaate Anywhere and More & Wolf Companion.
