  1. I do understand that. I usually run Chrome with both AdBlock and AdBlockPlus as well as NoScript and I then whitelist very sparingly, so I'm not really used to seeing these kinds of ads anywhere else. I whitelisted Nexus an hour ago and within that hour, I got that ad 4 times as a malware tab that replaced my Nexus tab I was using and then couldn't be closed or backed out of. It even eventually opens it's own browser window full of additional scammery. I had to kill the whole Chrome.exe process tree do anything with Chrome again. I'll just re-enable my blockers instead of whitelisting the site again. No harm done. This is why I use them by default anyway. I still love the Nexus and respect that they have to pay the bills somehow. Just a bummer that supporting the site through ads isn't really a valid option if stuff like this is getting snuck through their advertising network and my post is just to let them know why that is. Hey!! I'm not getting any ads. What's the deal with that? Oh, yeah. That's right. I'm a supporter and put my money up front to support this wonderful site. That means that your here on my dime. Do enjoy your stay!! The Rabbit Right. Thanks, Uncle Pennybags. I'm sure your $2 is going to cover the entire site's overhead for years to come. I mean, the site doesn't even need anything else to operate... Just you and the 20 other people who've paid $2. Get real please. Sites need ads to operate. Even if every visitor pays $2 one time for an ad-free experience, how long will that float the bills? A month or two? Six months maybe? And after that, if we were all using the site into perpetuity ad-free, what exactly do you think would pay for the continued expenses of the site? Magic? Robbin's determination and charm? (Hint: it's the free users who put up with the ads that pay for nearly every website's operating costs.) The $2 supporter thing only works if a small percentage of users choose to do it and the vast majority of visitors to the site continue to produce ad impressions on a daily basis. If we all chose to go ad-free the site would likely go bankrupt in short order without any actual income. Of course that would never happen because most people aren't going to pay something, even as insignificant as $2, to mod their games. If the ads continue to be as bad as the ones I ran into, you can bet your smug ass that countless other users won't be whitelisting the site either. I tried turning off my adblockers to support the site because I do want to and am aware that "free" isn't sustainable. I simply reported here in detail my justification for why I won't be doing that any longer. Feel free to tell me why I'm wrong, but if you think a one-off $2 donation makes you special or gives you any reason to talk down to other people, you've clearly managed to get your tiny head lodged in your ass.

  3. Don't host ads to scam sites like this one anymore: http://virus-alert-j5v0p7.online/ Crap that hijacks our browsers isn't cool.
  4. This has been a long requested mod that I don't think we'll ever see. This is easily the 20th thread I've seen asking for it over the years. I don't think it's actually possible due to the handedness of certain things being hardcoded and not moddable, for starters. Shields and torches are both left hand-only equippable and poison can only be applied to a weapon in the right hand, for example. I don't think those things can be changed with the CK or with SKSE, or I assume it would have been done ages ago. Now, someone could probably make a set of modded animations for it if they were willing to put in all that time, but the ability to actually equip the left hand-only items (shields and torches) in the right hand or to apply poison to the off hand, would IMO probably require either an exe hack of some sort or Beth releasing the behavior project files for all those paired animations (or both). So that isn't likely to happen. Even if someone does it or has already done it, it would not be publicly released or supported if they had to hack the .exe to do it. If you really, really want it, I'd start begging Bethesda for it now. Todd had promised full support for lefties way back when, but it never happened for TES5. So yeah... beg. Make left handed friends and have them beg too. Maybe they'll code TES6 up with a proper "Left Handed Hero" toggle if enough people get noisy on the forums about it. Also, and I don't know that this has anything to do with why it's not an option in Skyrim, but shields are invariably always held in the left hand, to protect your heart, regardless of your own handedness. The location of your most vital organ doesn't change just because you write with your left hand, so logically, neither does your shield arm. A facing enemy's heart is on your right as well, so reversing your weapon hand is also gimping your own your chances for any sort of fatal strike. Meanwhile, the enemy would be both protected from a killing blow by you and maintain a clear line of sight to stab you in the heart with his right arm. Realistically, there is no reason to ever have a shield covering your right half and leave your left (and more vulnerable side of your body) exposed. But I'll be honest, I know it's not about realism. There's no lefty bows or other lefty 2h's or anything else either. All the extra animations for lefties would have been twice as much work to rig and that talent/time/effort was probably spent on the DLCs or the next project instead. You shouldn't need a mod for this. The default controls (any bindable that is not added by a mod) can easily be rebound using the Pause Menu > Controls while in-game. Just edit them to your liking. They are saved locally for your machine, outside of the \data\ structure that mods can affect anyway, so it's not really something someone else can do for you.
  5. You need Fuz Ro D'oh: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14884/ Should be exactly what you want. EDIT: Sorry i thought you meant for dialog. Three searches later, and I don't think what you want exists. I think the timer for fading that text area may be hardcoded, simply because I can't find any mods that modify it.
