While trying to make some custom NPCs I first tried NPC editor and the custom npc.esp crashes my game shortly after the loading (works fine without it). So I decided to make a NPC manually in CK, I had made a few NPCS in geck, pulled up the tutorial slapped together a new actor following the step, filled out the few essentials such as name and ID then dropped the NPC in the cell, saved and got my custom.esp, loaded it up and they aren't spawning. Tried a fresh game, waited outside of the cell for 48 hours, no spawn. Opened up the npc.esp in CK and it shows the custom character in the cell, but no spawn. Any ideas on what to check?

Desperately looking for the fallout 3 photoshoot room, which was a Green screen mod, except you could change the room color and it had light controls etc. I know this mod existed, I uninstalled for 6 months and wanted to play around with it again, anyone remember the name? Finally found it, "Photo and Testing Room by KOBJ" great mod.

I've created a custom companion in RR, dropped it in the cell (gibson house) saved/loaded the mod. No companion inside... waited 9 days outside still no companion. Any ideas? Video of the process below. youtube

Try All hairs and use one of the female styles or dig through some of the mod packs. Edit : Anthony Lings Coiffure has Seph's, reno and clouds hair as well as a lot of anime style eyes.

I was hoping someone would be interested in making a camera mod that would allow you character movement during a locked TFC shot for making machinima and dynamic screen shots. ActorsInCharge did this in oblivion and I'd really like to make some films in Fallout 3 but the camera options are a bit limited. I'm not good with GECK, but I do video/sound editing, graphics, sig pics models and textures and would be happy to swap work (even if it's not FO3/obliv related) if someone could help me out with this.

We have a feedback forum here on the nexus, I felt the act of banning someone for simply mentioning they installed a piece of legal software with numerous legitimate uses was excessive. I felt it was similar to someone stating they own a gun, so you assume they shot someone or plan to rob a bank. As a user I felt entitled to leave that feedback respectfully which I did., if they don't care for it that's fine. End of story. As far as Sony's policies, I didn't buy my PS3 from Sony. They do not make case law and they wont be turning my system in to a brick because I stopped taking their updates long ago and cut the cord they wished to attach to my legally acquired hardware and I don't need their software. Federal Judges have consistently ruled violating a TOS is not a crime, and if you wish to debate that take it to the EFF. I'll install what ever I want on my hardware, I'll use it anyway I damn well please and if that interferes with Sony's business model tough titty; they have a flawed business model that wont work in the real word. I for one don't plan on letting the historical concept of ownership to be re-written to accommodate Sony or anyone else. That is my world view, no one is asking you to agree with it.

Thanks for your reply. I respect the forums stance on piracy however I still don't feel he was promoting, encouraging or discussing. I use the program he mentioned to maintain the ability to run Linux on my PS3 (which the system shipped with and later removed with a firmware update). If you feel so strongly on these matters it would be prudent if you made it clear that discussion of mods being used on consoles are not allowed as opposed to demonizing people as thieves, Some of us don't give a damn about the wishes of Microsoft or Sony as long as we are not engaging in theft or breaking the law. I apologize if I seem a little emo about the above issue, as a technophile I take great interest in maintaining personal ownership of my hardware and a free and open internet. He was simply asking about getting Mods working on PS3 and despite personal feelings it is neither wrong nor illegal. Since the site seems to be taking a stance; what I do find illegal is that Sony stripped the sold and advertised feature of being able to install linux, which is one of the features the program he was mentioning restores. But I digress, I found it saddening even if the forums are a private entity that anyone in a free society would have such a knee-jerk reaction with no warning to this person that was not discussing anything illegal or wrong.

I have a .3ds and a Daz3d samus model, no idea how to use geck. There are dozens of Samus mods for other games if it's not a issue to port them. The Halo CE Samus one is rather good and easily findable via google but I don't know what what is involved in the port process. I'd be happy to find you one if not two and ask the authors permission if you let me know what format you need.

I'd like some anime stuff to and there's no reason for anyone to crap on your desires. Fallouts a single player sand box and I don't get why lore trolls give a fat fart if you want to have Darth Vader and the easter bunny roaming the waste lands.

From what I read animations are a pain the ass and not something modders enjoy doing, this is already up in the mod request and on a lot of peoples radar. I'm surprised there's not s a simple way to convert .BVH if there was all the works already done. Groovatron has some some melee poses but nothing you can actually use in combat, it's just for screen shots.

I'm doing a short machinima film and I could really use a Cradleboard with a baby in it, currently I'm using a texture edited G-ray backpack and chroma keying the close ups but a solid model in game would really improve some shots if any modelers are up for something a little different. Personally I would prefer something with a lot of color but anything would be awesome. And as far as the baby, caucasian female, black hair green eyes. Kewpie doll style.
