  1. In my case it was also only happening when the gun was on the ground or use by an NPC, but I don't use the Iron-sights mod so our cases aren't exact. I just had to give up on using the EVE meshes for laser weapons, it was the only solution I could figure out. If you do find a solution without sacrificing the EVE meshes I'd love to hear it. Sorry I can't be of help there.
  2. I'm having this issue right now using the standard EVE v0.99 Was there a solution available? I'm not sure what happened but I'd appreciate it if you or someone could re-post any solutions. EDIT: I actually solved this one for myself. In my case I just had to remove the first person mesh for the Laser Pistol and the Laser Rife. I lose the neat pulsing red accent lights from EVE on the gun model in first person but that's no big deal to me as long as they're not flashing entirely white every few seconds. I have no idea why any of this works the way it does but it's a duct tape fix that works for me. Anyone else that may run into this in the future, the files I removed were: Data/meshes/Weapons/1handpistol/laserpistol.nif and Data/meshes/Weapons/2handrifle/laserrifle.nif
  3. To be honest the Steam Workshop method of installing mods has some features that I'd love to see in the NMM. In fact it works great for very simple mods, in that you can subscribe to it, it'll auto install, and even auto update when necessary. I'd love to see a magic button in NMM that I can click to auto update my mod to the latest version instead of having to navigate to the mod page and re-download every time. Perhaps in the future; It keeps getting better and better as a quality beta. Not saying this to stir contention. I LOVE the Nexus. I've been here since TESN. The customization, complexity, and quality of the communities work is absolutely phenomenal here, and I plan to stay. But I see no reason to essentially boycott the SW on some imagined principal that Valve is being evil about it. It's just looks like their service is meant to be used my simpler kinds of gamers. Happy to discuss further; I've been surprised by the extreme negativity revolving around this topic.
  4. @ub3rman123 If you were having problems find TF2 servers than there had to have been some problem on your end. There are always a lot of people playing TF2.
  5. It's crazy to see how many games that don't seem so retro to me are now being considered retro by the younger gamers. Anyways, I've been playing River City Ransom a lot lately.
  6. I've decided to pull out Fallout 2, and see that there are mods for it now. I've noticed there are some big ones including the restoration mod, megamod, timeslip engine tweaks. So I'm just wondering if any of you have replayed Fallout 2 with any mods, and if there are any you can recommend. Eh?
  7. I left all of my pre-order items in the Goodsprings Home, but later temporarily deactivated that mod. Forgot to take all my items out of it when I did, and now I'm 20hrs in so reverting to a previous save wouldn't be worth it. Are there known item codes for the pre-order items that I could use, or any other way to quickly get them back? Thanks in advance.
  8. Unfortunately, there's currently no way to get the exact Xbox 360 Controller layout for use with the PC version of the game. Some people use a program called Xpadder that you've probably already heard of to create their own control schemes for use with Dragon Age. The older v5.3 of Xpadder is free. It'd be awesome if someone could create a mod that reproduced the 360 Control scheme, I myself would use it. But alas, there is no such a mod.
  9. Nope. It's all bunch of rubbish. Was in the DA section, moved this to off-topic as it's relating more with a fantasy depiction of mysterious relics than actual fact. Please try to keep this from being a religious discussion. Thanks. - Vagrant0
  10. What effect does this have on the non expansion DAO?
  11. No. I spent some time searching for such mods, and concluded that there are none. I particularly wanted one that removed the light sources from rune weapons effects. No dice.
  12. I'm using the PAR mod, and I still sometimes get the bug where the mist comes and won't go away. A quick save and reload always gets rid of it for me.
  13. I actually rolled my game back to v1.02 (be re-installing). Funny thing is, the one bug I was having with v1.03 wasn't the patches fault, I'd just forgot to put my "Improved Environments" folder back into the override folder after backing up. I didn't realize that until I'd already re-installed the game. :pinch: So even though I have no problems with patching up to v1.03 since I haven't been having the bugs/conflicts most have, I still don't have Awakening and see no real urgent need to update. If anyone knows what files you'd need for a quick and easy v1.02 rollback, let me know and I'll try to upload them.
