it will. i was playing it without the beta OOO i was on straight 1.33
and yes it was Fcom 0.9.9

if it keeps happening after a full reinstall ill see if i can get the meshes from my folder and send them your way, just gotta let me know what ones you need :)

if youre going to redownload and reinstall pretty much everything i would recommend doing a full reinstall, it wont delete your saves. uninstall oblivion and then delete the bethesda folder on the c (or whatever letter you installed it to) then reinstall oblivion patches and fcom.
as for console commands i dont know any that do that :-/

have you tried reinstalling OOO as well? and check the OOO file for the missing items, i know when i first installed OOO none of the guards had legs, now it was quite humorous and looked interesting but it wasnt going to fly, i had to do a reinstall of OOO and it fixed itself

obse does not work with direct2drive versions of the game so that could be your problem.
it looks like you did everything else right. your .bsa file is the right size i just checked mine.
so the problem goes away when loading frans without OOO installed?
youve kind of stumped me other than the direct2drive thing

anything that says !!! FCOM INSTALLATION ERROR: needs fixing, when you install frans there is an option that says "use mobs" you should have that checked off. also did you get the 500mb frans pack or the 45mb one? im guessing the latter, get the former as well.
also there is a great tool link there that will help you figure out what this is, it allows you to cast a spell on the missing mesh and it will tell you where its from.
i have quite the feeling you didnt install the optional add on of 500mb

yeah pretty much everything was added at once x.X they seem to be localized to one area (straight across from the starting sewer area) but when i first started they werent anywhere around, i went to chorol and they werent there (the stranger/merchant) nor were they on the roads. its not a big deal though, i was more just curious, i rather enjoy watching them kill each other.

okay here we have the helm and chest piece they were wearing, both light armor and called fine square mail armor and helm

and finally the mysterious merchant, she doesnt actually have anything to sell though, the chest next to her has some low quality items and weapons in it though. (no she isnt a giant i am just playing my petite elf race i made, so i am well....petite.)

yeah they were actually called "mysterious bandit" and they were wearing some square mail armor. ill go see if i can grab a screenie of the vendor. brb :)

i have a mod installed not sure what one it is but it made mysterious bandits as well as mysterious stranger and mysterious merchant appear.
there is nothing wrong with it just wondering what it is and when i walked into an old ruin there was a giant battle of about 10 on 10 mysterious bandits fighting regular bandits, it was actually quite awesome to watch them kill one another.

weird ive been using streamline 3.1 for a few days now and it made my game run a lot better, though i tweaked almost every line in the .ini file it provided it seems to be working alright for me.
if you change the ini you still have to open the menu in game default is ctrl+home and do the initialize in the special options menu.
i may have to try out the oblivion optimization one though :)
over 300?! thats nuts! im up to 149 right now.
