  1. I keep crashing to desktop randomly outside Whiterun. It seems to be whenever I come within a certain distance of the city I crash, however I'm not sure if it is caused by mods for the city itself (EtaC, Expanded Whiterun, etc.) or by maybe an NPC that it loads when I come close? I have enabled crashlogs in my skyrim.ini, however not a single log has appeared in my Docs/Skyrim/Logs/Script folder. I am wondering if someone can look over my load order below and see if I have any incompatibilities/missing files. UPDATE: I am now fairly certain it is an NPC, as if I wait a while before approaching Whiterun I do not CTD. I have just successfully passed Whiterun and proceeded down the road towards Riverwood and then finally CTD, suggesting it is maybe an NPC traveling on the road?
  2. I still get the same error of the bone information being incomplete.
  3. I have been following the 'Brain Poof' tutorials on youtube on how to create your own Fallout 4 armors. For anyone interested, here's the link to their channel, its very useful. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvLe78hSjzrhiYHuA6PFvkA I have created a more detailed model than the one in the tutorial and so far have been able to work around missing points in the tutorial regarding a more advanced model. However upon importing into Bodyslide, the problems appear. The first issue is that no textures appear in bodyslide. This would not be an issue if it were just the actual armor without textures, as I have not created them yet, but it appears the skin underneath has lost its texture as well. http://i.imgur.com/kb6S0vs.png Upon attempting to export as a .nif, the next issue occurs: http://i.imgur.com/sg4zT3W.png I have weighted and attached bones to all of the parts so this makes no sense to me. And finally, upon continuing the final issue pops up: http://i.imgur.com/OGAt8NS.png I assume this means there are no bones in bodyslide to export? Am I supposed to import the bones with the model into Bodyslide first? Other people have recieved atleast this last error on the tutorials and as of yet had not recieved a response from the creator, so I was wondering if anyone here could help. UPDATE: I have tried it with the bones imported into Bodyslide and it seems to remove the second error ("At least one vertex does not have any weighting assigned to it") However still no skin textures show up and it continues to tell me that the bone information is incomplete.
  4. So I recently began creating custom weapons, but I keep running into the same problem over and over again. The models work fine and all the weapon stats are imported correctly into the game, but there is a constant texture glitch. I believe it is something wrong with how I am UV mapping/ importing my models into nifskope. This is what my weapon is supposed to look like (Yeah, its a crappy texturing job, I am just doing short projects as tests now to try and figure out the issue). http://i.imgur.com/HvZRmwB.png However in Nifskope the weapon looks like this http://i.imgur.com/rXLXyUp.png http://i.imgur.com/Lsps62Z.png As you can probably tell by the second image, it would seem that it is trying to apply the entire texture to each face of the model. I really have no clue what the issue is, but I think it is somehow to do with my importing to Nifskope. Whenever I import a model into nifskope it will tell me that "Material "(Whatever the material is called)" cannot be found in matllib." As far as I am aware, I followed this tutorial perfectly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hYHj2Dy49s. If anyone has any idea what this glitch is or how to fix it please tell me!
  5. I've figured out that its somehow a problem with the texture themselves. When I change the background color of the texture, the weapon ingame becomes that color entirely. Its possibly an issue with the UV mapping, but I'm not sure. Is anyone able to help with this?
  6. So I recently created a custom weapon, and I installed it to my skyrim. It currently shows up with the correct model, stats, speed, etc. But it is missing the texture. It currently just shows up as a blank white weapon. I believe there is a problem with the .nif file, but I can't figure out what the issue is. I was wondering if someone could help me figure it out.
  7. While searching around on the internet for more mods to install, I came across this article: http://www.gamesradar.com/skyrim-mods-make-it-look-next-gen-game/ Now, these all seem like mods I already have, except for in the second slide, this image: http://0519f170a2731643c0a9-ec45ee3cb118921cf5758d3a3db775b7.r83.cf1.rackcdn.com/438950f1df2e2c95432ba1abf038bc8af9e0dd60.jpg__846x0_q80.jpg Now, according to the comments, this is not a real mod. (If it is, please link it here, I tried to find it). I was wondering if there are any mods like this, and if not, why there havent been any made. An inventory that is this clean and straight-forward, as well as being able to see you character is just what I'm looking for. Although this is not exactly immersive, I still think it would be a fantastic mod for almost everyone to enjoy.
