  1. Steam removed the offending files but his Steam Workshop page is still there. I'll be keeping a beady eye on his files.
  2. If it's your own work and hasn't been copied and pasted and then claimed as your own then fair enough. What I'm on about is bare face plagiarism.
  3. Another reason not to upload on Steam. Contact the original modder perhaps?
  4. Received an email from Steam. Quote : Thank you for reporting content that violates the Steam Terms of Service or breaks the rules of the area in which it was submitted. Because of your efforts, we've removed 2 more items from the Steam Community. The Steam Support Team.
  5. Other posters' comments, as well as the alleged copycat's tendency to remove comments have persuaded me, but IcePenguin's claim and copy-paste argument doesn't defeat my suggestion that both authors could've yielded the same result due to the relative simplicity of their goal (drawing in existing roads). Good point. But I'm not on about just one mod. There are several files on his/her workshop that are the same as other earlier mods, including the images showing the mod. There is no difference between them except for adding some text to the images. Two separate artists painting the Mona Lisa would not end up with two paintings exactly the same.
  6. I looked for a 'privacy' button for the poll but couldn't find one. You don't have to vote. Now that it's been pointed out it is a bit ridiculous. I've removed the poll.
  7. Well, anything's possible. But the exact same result, to the extent it's the exact same main file with the exact same add-on features? Imo, the odds are close to zero. IcePenguin confirmed it as a copy.

  9. Non issues what-so-ever. Perhaps you got some corrupted files thanks to mods? Try not to be so quick at bashing Bethesda. You don't even know the problem of your crash. I'd wager it is your own fault, via installing too many mods and then removing them. Some files will be corrupt. Try a new start without any mods activated at all just to see if it is a mod doing it. If it isn't the mods have you tried validating the Skyrim game cache to check the files? Right click on the game in the library and select Properties - then select Local Files - then select Verify Integrity Of Game Cache. Then go make a cup of coffee, it may take a while ;D Anything that is corrupted or missing will be reloaded. Please don't automatically assume it's the fault of Bethesda. I usually find that it is because of a mod clashing with something.
  10. Google Gophervids SKSE....he does a great tutorial on how to install SKSE....very clear and precise....also gives you the link to SKSE....Do make sure you install the SKSE for 1.7 Skyrim though, or your game won't work....I think the SKSE for 1.7 is still in Beta form, but guaranteed it works. thx a lot stayfrosty ! my nmm is so full of stuff i just did a complete kill of all and restore now...if i ever get this game running the way i want i am the happiest man on earth o_O Oops ... my bad. Replied to wrong post. Sorry.:whistling:
  11. Downloading it as I type. DLC costs £13.99 Yaaaaay!
  12. Have a look at this guys workshop and decide for yourself. I recognize at least three that aren't theirs and have reported one of them. Their response to me informing them that I'd reported it, to give a fair chance to reply, was to just block me from replying. Their Steam Community workshop page: http://steamcommunit...es/?appid=72850 The mod I reported (Posted March 29th 2012 - 10:32pm): http://steamcommunit...tails/?id=19401 IcePenguin has confirmed that it was stolen. IcePenguins original (Uploaded December 30th 2011 - 18:40): http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4929 I hate plagiarists!:verymad:
  13. Don't know if anyone has seen this or not. It's a slightly tongue-in-cheek rock version of Sons Of Skyrim. I like it. There is also a behind the scenes video of the recording of the song. www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4bYnUsAvn0
  14. Thanks for the pointer AzirAphale001. Made the very basic mistake of not checking the other threads. But hey-ho ... peeps now have a choice. Good site for some rather good freebie screensavers is: http://www.uselesscreations.com/ My personal favourites are the 3D Matrix Code and the When Pigs Fly demo screensavers. With the Pigs Fly one you can get blast away at the flying pigs with a shotgun. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Be warned, I tend to go off topic a lot. Bear with me. It's a brain thing. Another one which I purchased many many years ago is called the 'Beam Screensaver' Site here - http://beamscreensaver.com/ This one is not free. Their spiel : Dive into fantastic world of furious space battles. You will be amazed how absorbing and relaxing this OpenGL-accelerated screensaver is. Discover yourself in the middle of space action among asteroid belts and eye-catching backgrounds. Enhance the impression from virtual journey with your favourite music. And ... just to keep everyone happy. How about this amazing video. Resonant Chamber from Animusic 2.
