  1. This could work as insight but unless I can back this up with some facts, I sound like I am pulling this out of my butt. I could use some actual data percentages of baby boomers that are gamers, types and styles of gaming that they would be into, ect. References to back up that claim would be nice too. Any type of study that a reputable source would be needed. I can't go in there and just saying 'retired people seem bored, let's get em addicted to video games' Do you know where I can find such info?
  2. Its actually not that bad, all you need to do is find the item you want on the object screen and drag it into the level list dialog box, from there you can set the level that it appears, ect ect. the best place to learn is probably by reading up the creationkit website, I put up all the terms on this link.I suggest you experiment a little bit and place vanilla items into random places, test it out in a new game and see what happens. Modding is all about experimentation and testing, you can't just stop cuz you think it looks confusing. Try out some stuff and if you need specific help you can either PM or keep posting here

  3. What I suggest is that you first take a look at the way the vanilla game handles item lists. Look for the most relevant to you needs under the level items selection on the object window in the ck and read up on how the game handles it
  4. About the mod name, I know you wanted suggestions about it, but it kind of seems like your building more of a bandit lifestyle more than just expanding on the bandits themselves... I should have probably used that title instead of OBIS tbh.

Maybe something that has a cool acronym like:

Live Like A Bandit - LLAB

    King of Bandits - KOB

    Lord of Outlaws - LOO

Kingdom of the Lawless - KOTL (Keeper of the Light :D)

    Guild of Degenerates - GOD

I'm sloooooowly getting off topic, but the name can be SOOOO much cooler for such a great idea and well done work

Great intitative for someone that just started out I applaud you good sir

  5. It would go to #10000 save? i mean if 10000 comes after 9999.....

Lol jk either that or it would loop back to #0 save ingame and in the files shows at 10000 or maybe your pc might explode, who knows? Your like 8690 saves away from that though, cross that bridge when you get to it. Hopefully TESVI will be out before you get to it ;D

  6.

I mess around with npcs a lot so I'll throw in:

    1. I haven't heard of or encountered weights being changed in game by itself, it should stay exactly the way you set it in the ck unless you change it using scripts or something.

    2. Yes, you must have facegen for every npc you make, there are some reports that they don't but I don't take that chance if you make a ton of generic npcs I suggest you optimize the facegen to save space

Alright, thanks I prefer to be safe and have it working, so I'll export the facegens.

I heard that it always changes back to 0, no matter what it was set to in CK.

Well... I've never noticed it, so don't take my word for it, you can check if you has tesedit

  7.

It's OBIS, we had to combine the bandit factions together to be allies to allow the new way of bandit spawns to work together properly in the 1.6D version, I still have the old 1.5 version still working though which does not have that, so just download that for your bandit play through and play the later version for when you play someone who isn't a bandit

Turns out the dammed mod that ruining your game was mine! MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

But seriously joining a bandit faction was not intended feature of this game so I didn't think people wanted to be an ACTUAL bandit in the bandit faction. But if I think about if you intended to start out as a bandit, why would you kill other bandits? Your case is so specific it was luck I came across this post

Sucks that this happens, but I hope this clears ups your problems

    You dirty madman.

Kidding. I uninstalled OBIS, but the bandits still won't be hostile. To add insult to injury, some of them are naked.

wait 10 days since cells gotta reset

  9. You can do a bit of everything, jack of all trades. Once I busted in with heavy armor and crushed everyone, another time I went around frenzying everything and watch them kill each other, finally I snuck shot everyone without getting found out once! I just try to take adifferent approach every time I'm in a hostile environment and if I can't beat it I just return to the old sword and bow playing style.
