  1. Why do you feel the need to say that you have a legit copy? Kinda tends to make people think otherwise, jsyk.
  2. As the title says, I have some high dps weapons that I made that send the target flying. I've noticed that using the finisher with one of these sends him flying. After that his red health bar is gone but his nametag remains and he's still walking. It happens to almost any human npc I've found so far including bandits. Any idea for a fix? You can try it out for yourself to see what I mean. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=269471345
  3. Take into account that there are new people here who do not frequent this forum or site. With that said, thanks for the post OP.
  4. the 295X2 is pretty much two 295x cards slapped onto one as far as I can tell, so you'll have 2x4GB. As for upgrading the ram itself, the golden rule is to buy a matching pair from the same vendor, same goes when dealing with multiple sticks... you want the same type from the same vendor... all 4 or however many slots of ram you have.
  5. Personally, if I were in your shoes, I would just go ahead & grab the new 295X2. That thing will probably last for a good 5 years or so before you need a replacement for it. Sapphire makes some of the best amd cards on the planet so that's what I've linked you to. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?gclid=CjgKEAjwtZucBRD77aiiq_v4xnASJABkAg8J-4s4Xtb_5DN_R_LBQ77325QT7ImK_oUnUqF23-GJmvD_BwE&Item=N82E16814202108&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-Desktop+Graphics+Cards-_-N82E16814202108&ef_id=U1ZTgAAABTNqg3pI:20140530040611:s Also, I would suggest you upgrade that ram, I'm on 16GB and considering getting 16GB more.
  6. Chances are you may not need to buy any parts at all. Here's a refresher on how to get your rig optimally prepared for skyrim! (Not my video).
  7. Running those in SLI would still only net you 1GB of vram to play with and it wouldn't take too many mods to exhaust that reserve.
  8. Playing skyrim on a intel CPU? Really? Also, explain to me how using a amd card will in your words "automatically drop some fps", as I use a 7950 and with vsync on I never see a dip below 60 fps while using 30 something mods. You forgot to mention something very important there with your link... click your article link and browse to page 2 of it. They use a Radeon HD 7970. Now if it hit that kind of fps without a real gpu... it would be pretty impressive. But yeah, intel cpu's still beat the socks off of amd cpu's.

  10. I use this 3GB 384 bit Sapphire 7950 and it's on sale atm for around $200-ish at newegg. I've had it since october or so last year and it's still running smoothly, powerful and silently
  11. I usually find that disabling high-res textures saves quite a bit of vram. I believe I read on another thread that using the (official) high-res packs by themselves with no other active plugins eat's up 1.4GB of vram. Quotable:
  12. I'd like to have a mod made but I can't quite get the hang of the Creation Kit tool. Anyways let me get down to the house specifics: I'd like it to be one floor with a basement. In the basement should be the kitchen with racks to "harvest" rabbit, fish and whatever else can go up there, with storage containers (1-3). Also on the other side of the basement should be 1-2 crafting stations with proper storage next to the stations (1 container per station). On the first floor, it should have about 4-5 manikins, storage for various weapon types (weapon racks and a chest or 2). Also, 2-3 bookshelves, one on either side of the bed would be nice plus one extra wherever. Outside, there should be the forge, plus various ingredients for alchemy and such and whichever leftover crafting stations there are. Would prefer it to not be in a city or other place where I would have to worry about accidentally attacking a friendly npc. To summarize, I'd like a house just big enough to have all of my crafting stations & storage at, without the place being gigantic, so long as it's a decent enough size to get around and easily find stuff.. and so long as there's not a huge amount of stuff to be loaded at once. Would prefer it to be a open house with little to no doors except to go back outside.

  14. Everything else sounds fine but people have low voices.... so I have to turn it up and then back down later due to booming bass lol. Anyhow, is there a mod to fix the voice issue?
  15. Thanks just what I was looking for! Nice to see that the author is still updating it. Author Update 9/2/2013.
