I am looking for a durzog mount and came across this post. Was this mod ever released?
-
I guess when you know how it's done (and do it), t does take away some of the fun as it takes away from the mystery, like a magician revealing his trick. However, this allows for a different sort of fun, making yor own mods, whether it be amour or a devious mission, creating can be just as good fun.

Things about Oblivion that make you roll your eyes
usernamesux replied to Megatarius's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
How enemies always make it a priority to kill your mount, grraahhh! Honestly, is my horse their biggest problem? Bandit 1 "Kill the horse, it is clearly the master as it forces the other to ride on top of it!" Bandit 2 "Yes. it is bigger too. We should focus our attack on it!" Bandit 1 "I bet it has good loot, let's get it!" Bandit 2 "Attack! Kill the horse!" What, are horses the bane of bandits and villians alike? Are they sworn enemies or something? In a fight I am just standing ther going "I'm here, get me instead! OVER HERE!.... oh fine, kill another of my mounts, I didn't want it anyway, it was brown!". -
That's beautiful Herculine, really. It's very touching. A lot of poetry does not get through me, but this did. Makes me feel warm, yet sad. I had a lady I loved, so I miss this, but what you wrote here is true. I felt moved, please keep writeing :)

I would pull out my callipers (M'aiq always has them, he is a kleptomaniac) and try and pick the lock. Failing that I woulds throw them at the Dark Elf's head in the cell opposite when he annoys me. I would protest to the guards that I was wrongly conviceted; "He was dead when I found him, it was the plague. That knife in his back got there because he fell on it. Honest!" or "I didn't steal all those good's, I was just keeping them warm in my pockets, seriously it's a big misunderstanding!". Of course I would try and steal that bright bauble hanging from the Emperor's neck (don't even bother listening to him, he sounds like he is on some sort of skooma trip!). Imagine his surprise when he goes to present me with the amulet, and I already have it, I would laugh in the silly Emperor's face as I flee the sewers leaving him to be hacked up. Then I would sell it to my fence in Bravil, useing the money to buy moon sugar, skooma and some local alcohol. When I recover, I would start stealing again. :)

Things about Oblivion that make you roll your eyes
usernamesux replied to Megatarius's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
Just the start annoys me, how believable is it that you are in a cell that can be escaped from, the emperor has visions of you, and on his death he entrusts his amulet to you. Weren't you just seconds ago in prison? Sure, the player character MUST be innocent, and looks so trustworty too. No, the starting plot reeks of the unbelieveable, thats why (well, and its quicker too) I use the start by ariving on a ship mod -
Ok make sure your infamy is zero (there are a few ways to do this, the KOTN shrine quest for example) and then get the blessing from one of the shrines (I forget which one, sorry it's been a while but it should be easy to find in that area).

It's just a game! Honestly, I just play it to unwind (which can have the opposite effect if my mods clash or make the game crash). Unmodded, this should be oh for kids too. People who pick out certain parts of this and go "someone think of the children" like that lady from the Simpsons, probably watch worse on tv. Computer games always get a disproportionatly harder attack over how they corrupt the young ones. Easy, don't get it for your kids. People have 2 things, freewill and common sense. In other words, people will decide for thenselves if something is good or bad for them, the exception being kids who don't know any better. Heh I know I would not let kids play mine, not with it being HGEC modded. If you have problems with the game, don't play it. Easy.

What do you want in a house mod?
usernamesux replied to helzi's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
Heh, I want a torture chamber (or something like that area where Sheogorath gives you that quest to drive the adventurers nad) because I'm sadistic ;) Evil castle sounds good! Go the torture chamber!! -

The Godly Way to Annihilate the Adoring Fan!
usernamesux replied to Starlion415's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
Madgod Powers also have some nice spells, Doorway to Madness and other teleport/portal spells in this mod can have some quite amusing ways to kill the adoring fan (or anyone else). -
Better Cities Blood and Mud Frostcrag Reborn to name a few

Most Hated NPC?
usernamesux replied to ItWotBeSoonBeforeLong's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
The dark elf (forgot his name) in the cell opposite you in the starting prison cell. Heh, he like how you meet him again though later. -
Isn't it easier to just alter the Oblivion.ini file in My Documents\My Games\Oblivion? Just change bBorderRegionsEnabled=1 to bBorderRegionsEnabled=0.

Stats and skills for any race (endurance, intelligence, destruction, illusion etc) will always end at 100. This is the same for any race, and is your gaol and cap. In other words, by end game all characters will have identical skills and all, regardless of race. The only things that alter gameplay for races are the racial powers, the ones to keep an eye on are ones that give bonuses to magicka (bretons, high elves), and ones that give weaknesses (high elf, they have a few). So, a high elf and breton may have 100 intelligence (end game), the high elf will have more magicka, but the breton will not suffer the penalteis the high elf does. Birth signs can also boost magicka, but are you willing to trade the bonus magicka with penalties for maximum magikca, or will you settle for a lesser magikca and no penalties. Certain race/birth sign combos will always have more magicka, thus be able to cast better spells that require more magicka. Any and all races though, by end game will have mastered all aspects from weilding a sword to casting a spell. The difference is how you choose to get there, the race/character is just a means of getting there. So, all things being equal (mostly), just choose a race your happy with.

alas poor yorick i knew him well

Hmm, that IS bizare. I am sure that phrase does come from the loading screens mod (I am sure I seen it), but what you said should not have happened. My only guess would be some sort of mod conflict, you may want to either change the load order of the loading screens mod (there are plenty of posts/topics to help with this), or reinstall the loading screens mod (which could take a while because it's huge). Or ignore it :whistling: he he
