.....to play on high quailty settings like a better graphics mod like MGE, etc
i got 6200 nvida card
MGE is a brutal beast. You need I'd say a Nvidia 8800GT or better performing card to play it all on high settings. That will likely mean you have to get a new power supply too. The one you have powering your 6200 isn't gonna power an 8800.

I am trying to vote in a file for the month of July but it's still showing June for File of the Month listing.

Understood, that's what I thought so I figured I'd better verify rather than risk the banhammer. Thanks for the reply.

This package is what introduced me to mods. It's a solid package of omods that was put together by a guy called Popehat. He allegedly received permissions from all the mod authors when he built this POOP. It's since disappeared from the internet and I was wondering if I could upload it here or if that would be violating the terms. They are all converted to Omods and it includes OBMM as well as Wrye and Tes4Gen tools. There is something like thirty omods in this package and it includes the most detailed instructions I've ever seen on installing these. The mods were chosen for compatibility and are broken down into categories. The instructions are painstakingly detailed.
So, can I upload this or will I get banned?
Thanks for your time.

1. Download Better Oblivion Sorting Software (BOSS) and run it. It will organize your mods in a correct manner to prevent problems like yours. This is mandatory.
2. Learn how to use Wrye Bash and make a Bashed Patch. This is also mandatory.
3. Consider using Oblivion Mod Manager. You can adjust load order for the few mods that BOSS doesn't know where to put. Place them with similar type mods. It also has an archive invalidation feature that is mandatory if you are hoping to see all your changes. This is recommended but on my game it's mandatory. It makes installing and uninstalling mods a snap if you make OMODS out of them with this program.
You need to do these with all the mods you are running. I'm actually surprised your game doesn't crash on loading. If you are going to run a tricked out heavily modded Oblivion you need to learn how to use these programs so you don't get the problems you have now.

I also use Bash and still had a black screen once in a while. I downloaded a mod called Nvidia Black Screen Fix and between the two I have no more black screens.
-
Use BOSS, better oblivion sorting software, for correctly setting up your load order. A bad load order can definitely hose your experience and cause all kinds of problems.

Is your game patched to the latest version?

Here is it's new home:

Yea but he's using Francesco's so he doesn't want Armamentarium Complete, he want's the one called Armamentarium for Frans and it needs to load after Francesco's.
BOSS is your best friend for people running a crap load of mods.
Make sure you get the Unofficial patches for your game and it's expansions.
Edit- Check out Windom Earle_s Oblivion Crash Prevention System which can be found here:
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22282
It requires OBSE. From time to time I used to get a crash when going through area transition doors. I installed that and have not had that issue since. It plays a "windows chime" sound but the game continues on, uninterrupted.
-
After installing the sound card did you enter BIOS and disable the onboard sound?
-
Been thinking about loading it up again for a while now. Modded and MGE'd it's on par with Oblivion but I'd say even more open ended in what you can do.
-
I still play it on my PC once in a blue moon thanks to dosbox. That was my first experience with computer games and man was it incredible. My buddies and I would stay up all night on the weekends and play it.

Yup, every Tuesday night with the guys. My name is Questionable.Poon and it always gets a comment at some point. There is one Christian server that banned me for my name.

Nah, looks like a good start to me. Keep in mind that it could always be worse, like this:

Agreed, hope this takes off. More variety is what I'm looking for without the dark bling-bling.
-
Yea I'm going to go ahead and side with you on this one. Are you planning on making these? I'm not a big fan of the super death knight of doom either.

Thanks for the increase in bandwidth!

I appreciate your effort.

This site actually cuts into my playing time. It seems like I spend more time downloading and testing mods than I do adventuring. It's an addiction I suppose, thanks for supporting it.

Yup, free.

Whew, hope every one was safe. We got hammered with a two and a half day long blizzard her in the midwest. The snorkel on my snow blower is about 4 feet off the ground and the top foot was the only thing above the snow while I was doing my driveway. Unreal. There are six foot drifts everywhere in my neighborhood, the street is two feet deep at the level spots.
I have a buddy that lives a block over and he is barricaded in with a mountain of snow that looks like a 15 foot pyramid. Enveloped his whole yard, blocking his door and garage door.
Amazing. I live in the country though, nothing but farm land around the neighborhood. It just blew right in with no trees to stop it.
How'd everyone else fair? Anybody else get hit with the blizzard?
Happy holidays!

Merry Christmas and thanks for everything you do for us. Merry Christmas all.

Uninstall, run ccleaner as suggested, delete the Bethesda folder in the C drive. Reboot. Reinstall, defrag.
Barring that, update your video and sound drivers.
Do you have problems in any other games?

Hope I'm doing this correctly. I'm looking for a mod called Morroblivion Few Armor Fixes. I had it installed last time I had Morroblivion running but now I can't find it anywhere.
Thanks
