  1. Is there a Skyrim version of this mod? I didn't ask sooner, as I thought a fairly simply but popular mod like this was already made (this one was actually ported from Fallout 3). However, when I went to search, there were no results. If a mod like this really does not exist, then I will post a request in the request sub-forum.

Hi MidbossVyers, I think the best thing might be to point you in this direction:

Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS by fore: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11811/

The description page has a lot links to mods you may find interesting. Scroll to the "mods using FNIS Behaviour" section.

    Hope this helps.

  2.

Hi everyone, I'd like to ask about a combo of mods. I just bought a new pc to play Skyrim so I need some mods that can enhance the hell out of this game. My specs are: MSI GTX 660 TI, i5-4570, 8GB RAM.

My goal is to make good female character and especially better NPC characters. Right now I'm using CBBE and SG Textture Renewal but they're obviously not enough. (I care a lot about lips and faces)

Also, I'd like to ask about ENB. I used sharpshooter ENB but for some reason the lightning was too bright. Any idea why or which other ENB I should take?

    Thank you all every much.

Hi Fortevn, that's a big question there. I'll try to offer advice as your PC has same specs as mine.

There are so many ENB's and it really is a matter of trial and taste. I use this one, I find it looks good and performs well:

Megatherium ENB by Sloth: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/46320/ it goes well with this,

IMAGINATOR - MCMenu by vivanto: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35581/

Face and lip mods - male or female?, again, a mater of taste but here's my choices:

Better Females By Bella Natural Edition by zzjay: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26113/

The Eyes Of Beauty by Gabriel Mailhot : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13722/

or for beasts, High Quality Eyes by Xenius: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/498/

Seductive Lips HD by EcthelionOtW: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22701/

Hope this helps as a start for you. Feel free to PM me, I don't mind.

Hi, yes there are many more. Search the Nexus for: "TBBP", "BBP", "HDT".

Check out this popular mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48648/

When you read the description page you will see lots of links to the type of files/mods that are required for this feature.

If you have more questions there are plenty of people who will be happy to help, I am online most days/times I don't mind a PM(Private message). I am relatively new too but I can point you in the right direction for most things.

    Good luck, have fun.

  4. Would it be possible to include a newsfeed in the program or on the site?. We could then check it for issues, some of the feedback pages are very large. I have been on many mod sites and never had to read so many pages.

IE, newsfeed - "we are aware of blah blah blah issue, will be fixed next update" possibly link to a moderator maintained noticeboard?

  5. Heads up. NMM 0.47.1 won't install manually downloaded files in "offline" mode anymore. Says you must be logged in. I always download manually, one file at a time then install via NMM.

[Edit] Ok I spotted it, will wait for the fix.

Website keeps randomly logging me out. Login works.. just a nuisance, whole site s l o w, downloads - fast.

  6. A theatre. A large/small hall, tiered seating, stage. No scripting required but if it could be populated by NPC's the better.

What would be the point?? Well there is currently a method for getting dancers into Skyrim. It is do-able to change dance into scripted movement to sound: ergo, a play. There are animators who could script NPC's to dialogue. I have an idea for a small quest that involves "conflict" with the Bards College. It could be simple or expandable.

Imagine - opening night - Skyrims first theatrical production. Even if only the theatre was made it would be a place to perform dance routines.

  7. In response to post #11572650.

Here, here. Particularly the stickies. I always read the description and any posts now, it can take a long time.
The description can also be a huge page where the english is almost indecipherable. I often think, if they had just asked I could've helped with that. Why not also offer advice to mod authors that people are willing to help if their first language isn't english, that the rush to publish could be tempered with a little discussion with helpful advisers.
  8. In response to post #11574013. #11578501, #11587841 are all replies on the same post.

I agree with all the above. I'm not a mod author but I do read the description pages and requirements - now that I'm a bit less of a noob. There are times when I really don't want "the requirements" but might like to download the file. Not to install to game but to check it out. I suspect others who are mod authors are likely to do this more than me. Would this prevent me/them?

A little concerned about privacy - the idea that any publisher from whom I have downloaded a file can see my download history - Mmmm.
    • My favourite game of all time is from the Mid 90's. It will run on any old tin box. Volitions - Freespace series. It was one of the first games to be released with a mission editor, it was fairly quickly released to "open" as Volition was sold and the game dropped. It had a large Modding community that was active for over 10yrs. You can still get it ridiculously cheap on Good old games.(GOG.com). There is still a massive amount of mod resources out there, though very few still in development. If you're new to modding games and want an easy fully developed MOD resource to practice with, try it out. It's a fun game.
