Update : I know what the problem is. It's the FOIP - EVE & FWE that's causing the problem. I have FWE 6.03 while the FOIP patch has only been updated for FWE 6.01, which I think causes the problem. I'm now going to play a bit without that FOIP patch and see how far I can go without it. Thanks!

Hello! I uninstalled and reinstalled everything, trying every single thing before installing the next. That way, I found out that the FOIP patches were the problem (not even project beauty, which I installed and which worked). So I played a moment without FOIP and after the last chapter in the Vault 101 intro, it crashed (which was kind of what I expected, playing without FOIP patches). I tried your suggestion, prensa, and nothing changes. I still can't click to the menu and when I ctrl-alt-del out of the game, it crashes. Hello everyone! I wanted to replay FO3 (no DLC's) with some mods and searched on youtube for some help on installing some. I found some very useful videos ( ) and followed them very carefully.This is my final load order : Fallout3.esm CRAFT.esm CALIBR.esm EVE.esm FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm Mart's Mutant Mod.esm FO3 Wanderers Edition - Alternate Travel.esp DarNifiedUIF3.esp FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esp FO3 Wanderers Edition - Optional Restore Tracers.esp FO3 Wanderers Edition - Optional Restore Tracers (automatics only).esp FO3 Wanderers Edition - Followers Enhanced.esp WeaponModKits.esp WeaponModKits - FWE Master Release.esp EVE.esp EVE - FWE Master Release.esp EVE - FWE Master Release (Follower Enhanced).esp EVE - FWE with WeaponModKits.esp Mart's Mutant Mod.esp Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release.esp Mart's Mutant Mod - Master Menu Module.esp Merged Patch.esp Total active plugins: 22 Total plugins: 22 The only thing I don't have is Project Beauty. I installed it, but didn't find any esp/esm file and I couldn't make a merged patch so I uninstalled that again and everything that was related to it (such as the FOIP-PB&FWE stuff). Merged patch worked fine after that but when I start the game, it doesn't respond to my mouse/keyboard. Usually I click when the game starts so I can quickly go to the menu, but now I don't even see my mouse appearing. And when those intro screens are gone, I can't even see the menu. It's just the normal background but without the menu. I have no idea what to do, can anyone help? Thanks! Heluris

Hrm, I became tired of trying and just deinstalled everything, removed everything from package manager and did everything anew. And it works! I can start playing, although I haven't played extensively yet so I don't know if I'll still encounter crashes. If that happens, I'll let you know. Otherwise, I thank you all very much for you help!!

Thanks for the help! I did everything you said (except for number two, which I didn't quite understand) but Fallout still crashes when I launch it. All right. I've left out the EVE Foip and installed everything (sorry for the late bump btw, but I wasn't at home) left. I've also downloaded Wrye Flash but I have absolutely no idea what to do with those files. PB still isn't shown, I've tried deactivating and reactivating. http://img837.imageshack.us/i/fomm.png/

Yes, you were absolutely correct. Everything went fine until I installed the EVE-FWE FOIP. Then the game crashes. What to do now? This is what I have now (another problem I found strange is that I installed Project Beauty but it doesn't appear in FOMM) http://img35.imageshack.us/i/fomm.png/

Thanks for the reply! Sadly, I've tried all your advice and noone worked. I keep getting the same problem : Fallout 3 starts and I get the intro and so on, but I can't see my mouse and I can't click to the main menu. When eventually (after the intro) I get there, I can't use my mouse at all (don't even see it). When I try to exit Fallout 3 with task manager, it crashes. Any other ideas?
