Great idea, coupled with maybe passive buffs from eating a warm meal after a long day or a buff if eaten with friends; I think it would become essential for most iNeeds players. The cooking would probably have to be streamlined (i.e. batch cooking), but I think that's the job of a different mod entirely.

Awesome idea, I'd actually love to see this. Especially in conjunction with mod ideas like "Raising Your Kids Family Interaction Overhaul". It'd be awesome if your mistakes got a beloved kid or spouse killed (maybe soul trapped) and your once noble character has to dirty their hands. For instance, slaughter their killer, take back the soul crystal and secretly learn and practice resurrection rituals. Couple this with a local reputation system and you've got a killer mod(s).

Weird idea, but why not just change an NPCs appearance? For powers just give them some similar spells from a mod via a follower overhaul. I doubt anyone would be willing though to animate and voice such a niche mod, but I may be wrong. So maybe take up animation and give that part a go yourself.

I think the real problem is the armor equipping system. Even FO4, which improved it was still flawed. We really need a more modular system where you can easily add insulation to armor and have multiple layers. For instance, strapping fur to yourself, over-cloaks, scarfs, goggles for blizzards, maybe some lore-friendly pendant enchantment of warmth. It'd go great with Frostfall, but even aesthetically and for RP such an armor system would be lovely.

Seems like a lot of work for something so niche. I mean, the manga's pretty good but this would probably take a couple hundred hours to make. So maybe consider paying someone a commission or learn the Creation Kit and pay someone to make you the 3D shield models?

Sorry to necropost but Christ this is an AMAZING Idea. I would actually pay the full price of the game just for this expansion (probably even more). God, what I would do for a mod/DLC like this. I've already "invested" 800+ hours in OldRim and about 400 in SSE. Yet I've always hated the spouse/adopting system. It'd take a lot of work to ensure it's intuitive and fun, but it's an awesome idea that'd go great alongside my bardic mage/mercenary's adventures. Hell, I'm casually (and slowly) working on a game, so I'm saving this posts contents and a link for future reference. Amazing stuff man.
