  1. In response to post #30969545. Having the same problem, newer versions of mods not showing up for Skyrim.
  2. http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=84572 A Warhammer 40K Conversion Mod, there has been a little discussion about it already which has been sealed by the mods because it was relatively unproductive. But Fallout 3 game world seems to fit relatively well with the Warhammer 40k universe. Some discrete steps that can be taken to this end should be to: Modify Super Mutants to Adeptus Astartes Space Marines/Chaos Space Marines/Ogryn/Orkz Modify some combat armor into Imperial Guard armor with the laser pistols/rifles into laspistols/lasrifles Changing the ripper into a proper chainsword Adding a power armor for Super Mutants that conforms to the Mark 3/4 Warhammer 40k Power Armor Add or modify weapons to conform to Bolt Pistols and Bolter Rifles Modify the flamer to match the Imperial Flamer Modify Ghouls into Eldar/Tau And I'm sure there are plenty of other things that I'm just not thinking of at the moment. However, each of the above mods are a discrete step that can be taken at any time without the need of any another. I'm personally trying to learn Blender so I can start modding weapons, but I've never done anything like that before.
  3. From what I've read from another thread, if the code for jewelry is still in the game, then a Jewelry Mod with jewelry that either looks good, serves a purpose (wearable sensor array?) or both. A Weapon Mode Mod to change between weapon modes; throw, thrust, slash or single shot, three round burst, full auto, etc. just like the original Fallout/Fallout 2.   5. I've been playing a little more and have a couple more "have the game make sense" mods. First, I'd like a Power Armor Training Mod that let's me go to the Outcast or Enclave to get Power Armor Training if I don't want to be a good guy. An evil or neutral player might go to the Enclave or Outcasts to get training to wear it if they are pursuing an evil or more neutral plot line, instead of the more random and contrived main story line. Second, I'd like a Pseudo Ghoul Mod so that people act like I'm a ghoul when wearing the ghoul mask. I was astounded when I put on the ghoul mask and had all the feral ghouls ignore me, but nobody at all had the slightest comment to the fact that I looked like something Dogmeat coughed up! It really killed the realism for me since ghouls are supposedly treated like garbage, and here I am getting hit on.
  6. I've commented about this in another thread also, about being forced to be a good guy. I wasn't allowed to join the Enclave because I liked the idea of my character committing genocide of all the mutants. It sorta forced me to be an unwilling pawn (there was three options to help you destroy the Enclave base but Zero for helping them out). I blew up Megaton and my father tries to guilt trip me about it, what's with that? If you give the code to Col. Autumn, he kills you. You can't even enslave children at will (I know, I tried), only specific ones by taking them to slavers. It just forces you to be a goody-goody... or else!

  8. Ack, I was actually quite annoyed by the opening sequence. I mean, the first time I played through it I was much impressed, but the second time I was just in a hurry to get out into the wastelands that I was doing my best trying to get them to shut up. I made a save just before leaving the vault for my next three playthroughs so that I could just create a character and leave. Too many things in this game seem rushed. Like they were trying to make F3 on a shoestring budget under major time constraints. I wouldn't have minded waiting another year (I'd waited long enough already) for them to have come out with a more polished product instead of this modification of Oblivion. To end my rant, I wish they had simply stayed with the tried and true select/create a new character and then "welcome to the vault/village, we need you to save us sucker/chosen one."
  9. If the code for alchemical mixtures is still in the game, like others have mentioned, how about a way to use all those empty bottles to mix different drugs, drinks and machine lubricants? The ability to manufacture your own purified water, ultra-jet, super-ultra-jet, psycho, gun oil, soy milk, colored water, purple people eater, moonshine, etc. for fun and/or profit could utilize a system that is already built into the game and can cross into the ambitious science skill=robotics mod, as well as create a means of slowing down/fixing weapons with a bottle and getting a source of rad free hp. We already know that you need to make ultra-jet, so why not let the player make the stuff? With all the raw ingredients in the wasteland, such as the radiation eating fungus, canned food items, ready available drugs and animal byproducts (deathclaw hands and <insert animal> meat), and all those worthless empty bottles, there should be a large variety of interesting recipes for all sorts of things. We could call it the "Cooking with Vegeta" mod... or probably something more adept like the "Kitchen Creations" mod. ETA: These are just some of the random ideas I've come up with. Read or ignore them as you wish. Please append "+ one (1) empty bottle" or "+ one (1) empty syringe" as necessary. Ultra Mega Jet = two (2) Ultra Jet + one (1) Fancy Lads Snack Cakes Four times the power with only ten times the side effects! Fresh Milk = one (1) Purified Water + one (1) Fresh Potato It does a body good. Fruit Juice = one (1) Fresh Apple OR Pear OR Carrot OR Mutfuit + one (1) Water It cures cancer. TV Dinner = one (1) Blamco Mac & Cheese + one (1) Salisbury Steak + one (1) Junk Food Three thousand calories with 250% your daily fat and oddly no taste whatsoever. Cake = one (1) Fresh Milk + one (1) Yum Yum Deviled Eggs + one (1) flour + one (1) Dandy Boy Apple Look at me still talking when there's science to do. Eight Hour Energy = one (1) Pack Cigarettes + one (1) Alcoholic Beverage Get the energy, without the crash! Twenty Four Hour Energy = one (1) Carton Cigarettes + one (1) Alcoholic Beverage(s) Side effects may include... AP Oil = one (1) <animal> meat + one (1) Abroxo Cleaner All Purpose Oil for all purposes. Deadly Poison = one (1) Radscorpion Poison Gland + one (1) Alcoholic Beverage As opposed to the "good for you" kind. Super Stimpack = two (2) Stimpack(s) + one (1) Med-X It hurts worse, yet I feel better?! Cherry Nucka-Cola = one (1) Nuka-Cola + one (1) BloodPack The new Taste Sensation. More to come if I ever get another brainstorm.
