There are few mods that add realtime shadows to static lights and torches to make the environment visually richer. But to make shadows nicer, you'll need to mess around with some values in SkyrimPrefs.ini file. Namely iShadowMapResolution to make shadows sharper (takes a lot of VRAM with higher values), fShadowDistance to increase or decrease shadows draw distance (the higher the distance the lower resolution you'll get, making close shadows really blurry), iBlurDeferredShadowMask to make shadows smoother but less detailed (higher values are good for close shadows and interiors but will smudge distant shadows to the point they're hardly recognizable) and bTreesReceiveShadows which enables trees selfshadowing (just give this one value 1, there's no drawback here). But I think it's highly unlikely you would not know about these tweaks by now.
