  1. Found it! It's called signature weapons for the weapon mod and signature armors for the armor mod.
  2. Hello folks. I used to have a mod that did this that I got from New Vegas Nexus but I forgot the name of it. With weapons you got better penetration or damage the more you used it. Armor gave you choices like higher DT and resistances. Really cool mod. Can anyone help me out and let me know the name of that mod? Thanks!
  3. Hello folks, I had a conflicts with a lot of mods that I was running and my game was crashing a lot. I downloaded that fallout 3 new vegas edit to fix the problem. I had it load all the mods and check for conflicts automatically. I then created a merged mod. It resolved a lot of the conflicts and the game is running way more smoothly than before with much less crashes. Only problem that I'm having right now is that sunset sarsaparilla crates cannot be moved. I first noticed it in goodsprings because I take the crates near the ammo and crafting desks and drag those crates over to them to put my stuff in by categories (one crate for weapons. another for crafts. another for aids, etc.) I can't grab and drag any of them now. The best way to resolve this was to use the geck and edit the properties to make it a movable static again. I'm not sure if I edit newevegas.esp or if I edit the merged mod. Two day trying to figure out how to do that with no luck. So maybe an easier way would be to spawn some new crates. next to the unmovable ones but wont' be able to be moved either. At least I don't think so. The ID of the crate with the tilde key is "crate" (yes, great description). Plus if I spawned more object I'm not sure if that would cause save game corruption. Other idea would be to disable mymergedmod.esp file, move the crates to where I want them and then re-enable the mod. But that might cause save game corruption after the mod got re-enabled. I figure it would work since the crates could be moved before I did the merged mod. But I was getting crashing left and right with the mod conflicts so if I disable the merged mod move the crates and then re-enable it then maybe it save corrupted data. I'm at a loss on what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  4. I did a merged mod and fixed a lot of crashes after the merge. only thing now is that I can't move crates around. Specifically the sunset sarsaparilla crates. How do I make them movable again? Thanks!
  5. Hello folks, I installed fallout new vegas on xp and I'd like to use this install in windows 7. I have a ton of mods already installed on my xp install with fallout mod manager. Is there a way I can just move the install to windows 7 without reinstalling everything? I'm thinking to start. 1. reinstall fallout new vegas again into the same drive and directory after I boot into windows 7 to create the registry entries. It would be a major pain in the butt, but I think maybe the next thing I''d have to do if the program won't run is to install fallout mod manager and reinstall all the mods again into the same directory. Geesh, there's got to be an easier way..... any ideas would be appreciated.

  7. hello folks, I'm on the ed-e my love mission where I go to meet the BOS paladins in their bunker. I give up my weapons and we go down some stairs. When that area starts to load I get an immediate crash to desktop. I ran the conflict checker on the fallout mod manager and looks like no conflicts. Can anyone give me some steps to troubleshoot other than disabling all mods and see what happens? Thanks!
  8. is there a tutorial somewhere on how to do this? I just install the mod manually and fomm finds it. However, I have been getting crashes so maybe there is a conflict. I think fomm might be able to figure where conflict is. Anyway, if someone could show me a tutorial on how to use fomm to install a mod I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
  9. sorry - not sure if there is an existing mod for this or not so I posted in both areas. Any mods to have merchants restock cash and items? Also, a flashlight mod would be nice that's brighter than my pip boy.
  10. anyone know of a mod that will restock cash and weapons for the merchants? Also, a flashlight mod would be nice for NV would be nice. Running the night mod now and I usually end up sleeping the night b/c my pip boy isn't bright enough to see anything. Thanks!
