  1. Ah the save game cleaner should help a lot, thanks! I had suspected my CPU may have been a little slow, but this is a game that was made for the 360 and checking my task manager the game always had CPU cycles and RAM to spare, so I wasn't sure. I ran the save game cleaner though and found 1100 inactive scripts. Most of that is probably from companion mods that wouldn't quite work (ex: 'Cerwiden -SMART Healer' wouldn't leave the Riverrun Inn with me), so I'd uninstall, re-install, and try again. I'm pretty much done with adding mods though, so as long as I can stabilize what I have I'm okay with some performance loss.
  2. I just started playing Skyrim a month or two ago, and this is a multi-faceted problem that's dragging the game down. I'm going to start with the most glaring and common occurrence: When i approach a new word of power on the wall, I have to wait around for about 10 minutes to actually receive it. Basic summary: The chanting immediately starts, the word usually begins glowing to some extent, and the lights may or may not dim. The first time at the start of the game the word processed normally, but after that I've usually had to sit around for 5-10 minute while something churns away until finally everything goes dark and it spits the word out at me. System specs: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit CPI - Intel Core2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00 Ghs RAM - 4.00 GB GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 720 Ti Mods: Using Mod Organizer SKSE Dawnguard/Dragonborn/HearthFire (the latter two were added later) SkyUI ... I have 130 mods in total so it's kind of a mess and has gone through multiple revisions, additions, and subtractions as I've played with the same character, though the Word of Power issue has been pretty consistent throughout. Should I figure out the way to get the full list? I will note that I originally had Skyrim HD - 2K textures, but turned it off as the game was occasionally crashing on spell effects. Some additional info: In a similar manner, I often get the notification for soul capture 5-10 minutes after the actual kill. I have a significant quest currently broken, finding the Dwemer MacGuffin with the ghost lady starting at the ruins in the SouthWest corner, I acquired the first MacGuffin piece, talked to the ghost lady to get the other locations, and then a few minutes later when at the exit I get the quest notification: Dwemer MacGuffin acquired, now talk to ghost lady. The quest marker pointed to the old location but she was long gone. When googling the problem the closest thing I found was this link which had a similar issue with quests, and apparently resolved it by deleting Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini in the Documents\My Games\Skyrim\ folder. I tried that but the current word wall I was at when I reloaded showed no change. My best guess is that with my lower end CPU and RAM I may be overloading the game with mods, but I want to check if there's any possible resolution to this. Any help would be appreciated.
