not sure what is going on but Skyrim now runs with over 1.6 million processes whenever I try to play, up from 600-900k during NMM 0.45.9. Game will refuse to load any outdoor saves, even after disabling all HD terrain textures and my ENB injector. About to try that infinite loading screens mod that did absolutely nothing for me in a seperate circumstance. ENB Boost only disables my ENB >.> Any Ideas? The game magically deleted all of my High Hrothgar saves, and that was my only indoors save after the Throat of The World quest and since before Karthspire. I am very upset about losing as much progress as it looks right now.

hi, im very angry because i have wasted an entire day just waiting for skyrim to reinstall multiple times for different reasons. the past two times it's been because after using my backup (steam managed) for a second time after trying to install an ENB preset, it included all the previous ENB files i had just attempted to get rid of by using that backup. the second time I deleted all local content through steam an then redownloaded the whole thing. all the ENB files are still there. not only that, but now the skyrim launcher is refusing to detect my nividia gt650m and instead insists on only detecting my Intel HD4000. i have just wasted over ten hours on multiple reinstallations, including two system restores because my nvidia card decided to not support Aero desktop theme. i am about to explode. Please help me. how is it possible that steam magically has all my modified files and decided to download them all instead of giving me a fresh skyrim copy so i can save it to a custom folder and not have ot waste another 5 hours downloading a reinstall.

I want to install the Poupouri ENB Extended. The instructions do not mention messing with the antialiasing in either the skyrim launcher nor messing with my Nvidia settings in Nvidia Control Panel, unlike RealENB's description. same with modifying virtualGPU memory and all that. Is that step a given for every ENB mod or is it specific to those that include such a step in their installation instructions? (looked in one of the files in skyrim folder after having to end process from loading screen, VRAM for gpu was set to 0 mb :mellow: all i did was install the folders from Poupouri into their respective folders and left everything else vanilla, except the ENB binary of course) there are so many things I am unsure about after looking through a hundred different web pages *pulls out hair. I managed to get poupouri extended to work ( i think, because the dragon in the new game loading screen looked amazing) but I got an infinite loading screen. Is it recommended that I install an ENB mod before any others if my priority is to improve the visuals? also, how do i "activate .esp files" ?

If you mean to add it from skyrim.ini I do not have such a file anywhere in the skyrim directory (completely vanilla). You mean simply typing that into skyrimpref.ini will add it? this is killing me >.< so many things needed to install ENB mods.

Every guide to installing any ENB mod says to edit bshadowsongrass to 1 but even after uninstalling all nexus mods and reinstallign skryim through steam I cannot find that particular line in my skyrim.ini file. that is the only one that seems to be missing. help?
