  1. Now I've been playing SKYRIM, both modded and unmodded for ages, so I've seen my share of bugs, but this is a new one for me. While walking or running forward, after a few second I find my character getting pushed back as if by an invisible force, only to find myself moving forward again a second or two later. It's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it bug, but highly annoying. Right now my prime suspects are Movement-MCO-DXP, Smooth moveset and True Directional Movement. Do these have a history of not playing well together? Or should I turn my attention elsewhere? Thanks in advance!
  2. Any chance we can get a Shifter custom race akin to the one from the D&D pen and paper RPG? For those not in the know: Shifters Shifters, sometimes called "the weretouched", are descended fom humans and natural lycantropes, now nearly extinct on Khorvaire. Shifters cannot fully change shape but can take on animalistic features - a state they call shifting. Shifters have evolved into a unique race that breeds true. They have a distinct culture with its own traditions and identity. Personality: The personality and behavior of shifters are influenced by their animal natures. any are boorish and crude, while others are quiet, shifty and solitaary. Just as most lycantropes are carnivores, shifters have a predatory personality and think of most activities in terms of hunting and prey. They view survival as a challenge, striving to be self reliant, adaptable and resourceful. Physical Description: Shifters are basically humanoid in shape, but their bodies are exceptionally lithe. They often move iin a crouched posture, springing and leaping while their companions walk normally alongside. Their faces have a bestial cast, with wide, flat noses, large eyes, and heavy eyebrows, pointed ears, and long sideburns (in both sexes). Their forearms and lower legs grow long hair, and the hair on their heads is thick and worn long.
  3. Whenever I've played any of the FAR CRY games I've always thought the same thing: How badass would it be if ever sound your character made was from Schwarzenegger or Stallone movies? If every time you jumped down from a height and took some sap out you heard a Schwarzenegger "GEEEEYAAAUH!" Or if every time you went buck-wild with an M60 you heard a Stallone "WUUUUUUUUUUUHHH!" If you've watched a lot of 80's action movies you know what I'm talking about. If every punch, kick, leap, slide, machine gun rampage were accompanied by sounds from Schwarzenegger, Stallone, or other action heroes, I know it would quadruple the fun I'm already having with FAR CRY 5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aLR-8c11ms
  4. Howdy folks! Just wondering if there's any chance one of you fine modders (you know - the folks that have me playing SKYRIM five years after its initial release) would be willing to take a crack at porting the super-sweet Deathdealer armor mod that came out in 2013? I'm talking 'bout this bad boy: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17097/? The most bad-ass armor design in history methinks! Cheers, B
  5. First off, allow me a moment to kiss the collective ass of the modding community. You all are the reason why I and so many others are still playing SKYRIM after all these years. It's amazing when you consider all of the work and passion you folks put into making a kick-ass game kick even *more* ass and you're still going strong. Now, on to my gripe. Where are all the Frank Frazetta mods? To the best of my knowledge the only one ever created was a *very* sweet "Death Dealer" armor and weapon combo. If you don't know who Frazetta was, check this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAppGWhig_E&t=24s Pretty bad-ass, right? The end-all-be-all heroic fantasy artist. Another thing I've been disappointed by is the lack of mods inspired on the mini-boom of Sword & Sorcery movies that came out in the early 80's (i.e. EXCALIBUR, BEASTMASTER, HAWK THE SLAYER, etc,), aside from the simply awesome CONAN: THE HYBORIAN AGE. These are veritable gold mines for modders and well worth a look. Anyways, keep up the great work! And more Frazetta mods please!
  6. I'm kind of surprised the modding community has yet to produce a mod based on the classic old D&D module RAVENLOFT, given that SKYRIM is the perfect game for it. But hey, now that SE is out maybe some intrepid modder will take it on! Imagine Castle Volkihar but waaaay bigger and creepier, loaded with traps and legions of the undead and you get the picture. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ravenloft_(module) My thanks to everyone in the modding community who are responsible for me and so many others still playing this damn game six (count 'em!) years later! Cheers, B
  7. I know zero about modding, but I imagine it would require combining a bunch of the vanilla weapons. I doubt it would be possible, but holy crap it would be fun to see!
  8. I have no idea if any of our fine, esteemed, venerable members of the modding community could make this happen, but tell me you wouldn't want one of these bad boys in the Commonwealth: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skhk7lUsEqI Yep, it's an assault rifle flanked with rocket launchers, a grenade launcher under the barrel and a double-barrel shotgun on the top. The most ridiculously awesome, cranked up to 11 thing I've ever seen in a grade Z MAD MAX rip-off... or anywhere else, for that matter. Of course, you'd have to make the thing weigh 50 pounds, minimum. Just look at Richard "Anti-Virus" Norton's veins bulging as he unleashes a lethal tsunami of death. http://www.mondo-digital.com/equalizer4big.jpg http://lh6.ggpht.com/_D3dI85Z3BJQ/TZghwniD43I/AAAAAAAAEug/pFxkVbZL9G4/equalizer-2000-poster.jpg?imgmax=800 Cheers, B
