  1. Vortex got updated today and I had hoped that it would have fixed this issue, but unfortunately it looks like it's still occurring
  2. First of all, thanks for this. My dumb ass didn't even realize I could do that, probably because I've never had to look for such an option since I could just enable them through the notification. Exactly this. Yes, there's other ways to do it, this isn't going to stop me from using Vortex, but it's clearly a bug that needs to be fixed, and it's annoying to not have this specific convenience available. The notification to install after download still shows up, so it's clear that this is a bug. Why only remove the "enable" notification but not the "install" one? And as multiple other people have pointed out in this thread, those automation settings were off for them when they installed the software. The only setting under Automation that I ever messed with before coming to this thread was the one to auto-deploy mods after enabling. Perhaps it didn't install in that configuration for you, perhaps it did and you don't remember, either way the only thing "non-standard" here is your bizarre animosity towards anyone who uses this program differently than you do. Keep it respectful, there are more important things in life to argue about than how you use a mod manager
  3. I had the same issue and tried resetting the notifications, it didn't change anything on my end.
  4. I don't know why you're acting like I don't know how to read, but I can assure you that when I turned the "enable mods when installed" option to ON, all it did was auto-enable mods when I install them, it did not bring the "enable" notification pop-up back. And I can assure you it's definitely not faster to look through 800 mods to find one that starts with A and one that starts with U and enable them compared to clicking "enable all" in the pop-up notification. That is not even the issue we're discussing. Yes, if you turn on those options in Automation, your mods will auto-install, auto-enable, auto-deploy. What WE'RE talking about is the fact that the "enable" and "enable all" notifications no longer appear after a manual install with these settings OFF. If you have nothing more to contribute to this discussion, then move on
  5. All of my settings under "Automation" are turned off. I turned off automatic deployment, everything else was off by default. I just tried turning on "enable mods when installed" but that didn't bring the notification back, it just auto-enabled the mod after installation. I guess I'm fine with that, though I preferred being able to actually click "enable" or "enable all" in the notifications
  6. Hi everyone, Vortex updated for me yesterday and since then, the notification at the top right that appears when you finish installing a downloaded mod that allows you to enable it (or enable all if you have installed several) no longer appears. Installation still works, and if I search for the mod in question in my list and then hit "enable" it enables correctly as it did before, but it adds an extra layer of annoyance because it requires me to manually look for each mod I installed and enable it which means I have to do this every time I install something so I don't lose track of what I have to enable. Anyone else having this issue?
