  1. Oblivion Reloaded will crash on the Character generation screen. Disable this, see how you go. If you want to run Oblivion Reloaded, disable it till you have chosen your character, enable it again while in the Imperial Sewers, or after you leave the sewers. See if that works.
  2. Here is an Additional Picture reference for the post Anvil Lake Has Gone Strange
  3. Does anyone know what's going on here? I sorted my Load Order with BOSS and BOSS Master list this afternoon. After returning to Oblivion, I noticed Anvil Lake has a land tear. I'll upload images of this, and a Load Order from Wrye Bash. All help is appreciated. Active Mod Files:
  4. What I think you need to do is change the values in the Oblivion XP ini file. Replace 100 with 200 and I believe your stats will raise above 100. I've only read of this, I haven't tried it myself. See how you go.
  5. I did a reinstall, which fixed the problem. What I think was causing it was the Unofficial Oblivion Patch. I always installed it as a matter of course. In the old days you needed this to fix some of the errors present in the earlier versions of Oblivion. With Anthology, these have been addressed. It was the weirdest problem I've ever seen. The Kvatch and Kvatch Oblivion Gate World Spaces weren't there. I tried a console code to progress the Breaking The Siege Of Kvatch Quest. Out of sheer despoeration and frustration more than anything else. The tower with the Sigil Key Keeper was there, but nothing else. Outside the tower, there was no bridge, no ground no sky. All there was was a yellowish ochre blur for the ground, and a pinkish orange blur for the sky. God knows what caused that. Anyway it's fixed now. Had to start a new character, but these things happen. Just thought I'd let you know. Thank you to the seventy-rour people who read this post. I hope you found it entertaining.
  6. Try placing the OBSE loader in the start menu. If you don't know how to do this, right click on the OBSE loader in the Oblivion directory, seledct Pin To Start Menu. Go to Start Menu, and click on the icon for the OBSE loader. Should start. That's what I do, and Oblivion Starts. It can take a few tris, but Oblivion always starts. I'm not sure about the OBMM Oblivion Launcher. I haven't tried it all that often. I usually try the method I've described, because I'm running Oblivion XP. See how that goes. Good luck.
  7. Does anyone know what causes this? Every time I enter the Oblivion Gate outside Kvatch, in the Breaking The Siege Of Kvatch, the Gate loads, or it begins to. The red bar moves across the screen, the pleasant country score turns decidedly creepy and atmospheric. Then, everything stops, the red bar freezes about half way, the music stops. Everything goes quiet. Nothing else to do but wait. After it becomes clear Oblivion has frozen, I Control-Alt-Delete to the Task Manager. Here, it always says, Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library running, Oblivion, not responding. To add to the enjoyment, here is a second, later, error message. Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library (Silver X on red background) Runtime Error! Program: C:\P.... This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. That's error message two. What is happening is I am unable to enter the Oblivion Plane. I can't tell you what that is. I'll post my load order and system information, in the hope this can provide an answer. This information comes now. It has done this 1 time(s). ---------------------------------- End of file - 39791 Bytes That's the technical information. This is my Load Order. Active Mod Files: I hope this is enough information to diagnose the problem. I'm playing a Vampire Reace Reloaded character. Would this have any bearing on the problem? I've had the same problems with a Desuchan's Doll character. Is there something about custome characters which disrupts the Kvatch Gate? I'm also running Kvatch Rebuilt, the latest Experimental version. If anyone an help me, please, I would be grateful.
  8. Have you tried cleaning it yet? I don't think there's much to clean, but that might help. Because the Oblivion gate is there, that area can give users issues even with the vanilla game, especially if you're running the game on lower end hardware. If that's the case, it may be best to stay away from Kvatch-focused modifications. However, I think it's a well-designed mod, so I hope you are able to run it cleanly if that's what you wish to do. --Tomlong54210 Please see earlier post. Sorry, I was trying to add Tom Long's quote to my earlier post.
  9. I'll post my load order here for you. What I have found with Kvatch Rebuilt is anytime I tried to enter a chapel, the game crashed. Oblivion stopped working, but something called MNicrosoft Visual C++ Runtime Library was still running. Samet thing happened on entering the Kvatch Oblivion Gate. There is an Oblivifall patch for Kvatch Rebuilt. As I'm running Oblivifall I'm going to install the patch.Active Mod Files:
  10. I'm back Claustromaniac. I managed to install the DDs plug-in for GIMP, but it isn't working. I'm going to try the 32bit version, despite GIMP being for a 64 bit install, The Win folder in GIMP is Win32, so I'll try the 32bit version and see what happens. The 64 bit version sort of half worked. It appeared to install, but I can't save or export images in DDS format. Or I can, but the won' open, even in the Construction Set. I managed to make a custom class in the Construction Set, using the Battlemage as a base. I right clicked on the battlamage name in the class list, and selected Duplicate. I next clicked on the Copy, and edited it from there. I tried out the new class, in Oblivion yesterday. Showed up in the class list, and it seems to be working well. I'm strongly thinking about uploading it, so everyone else can view it, and use it if they want to.
  11. Thanks, I'll look for the standard Oblivion images, and use them. I'll let you know how I fare.
  12. Is there any way of downloading or making DDS files for use in the Constuction Set please? I've tried LHammond's DDS2 Converter, but the image I downloaded didn't want to convert. Not LHammond's fault, I hasten to add. What I'm trying to do is add images to Classes I'm making in the Construction Set. Can you use the existing Bethesda images, or do you haved to use your own? I'm happy to use my own, which I'll make in Poser Pro 2014 or DAZ Studio 4.6. Can nay such images be converted using Gimp, or DDS2 Converter? All help is appreciated.
  13. Sorry I didn't reply earlier than this. Everything is working well. I sorted out the Wrye Bash problems. Used BOSS and BOSS User Masterlist. Both made mod installating much simpler. Thanks for your help mhahn123. Much appreciated. HUD Status Bars and Oblivion XP have been corrected. Think there was a problen with HUD Alive. Active Mod Files:
  14. I went through the whole thing, and sorted it as best as possible using Oblivion Load Order Manager. Still didn't work. I was using TES Mod Manager For Oblivion. I auto sorted using Boss as a last resort. I also used both BOSS and LOOT. All of them posed problems. I've returned to using Oblivion Mod Manager Extended. I've had no problems with this. Apart from load orders, there were problems with two installs. TES Mod Manager For Oblivion wouldn't install HUD Alive, even though Oblivion Mod Manager Extended has always installed this. There appeared to be a problem with missing OBSE, even though this is installed. Oblivion XP also posed problems. I installed both using Wrye Bash. Probably not wise under the circumstances. I find load order managers throw up too many problems. What I usually do is move mods up and down the load order in OBMM Extended. I've never had any problems using this. I also used Oblivion Load Order Manager. More problems. Oblivion steadfastly refused to start. I unstalled, reinstalled, deleted the Oblivion folder from My Games, and began again. Working perfectly as of last night- Sunday 8th June 2014. I'm reinstalling my OMODs using OBMM Extended. Think I'll give load order managers a miss till I know mmre about them.
  15. I hope this is the right place to post this. Could someone help me with Mod Load Orders please? I'll show you what I currently have installed. This is after running Auto Sort with Boss through TES Mod Manager for Oblivion. I'll attach a Notepad file as copying thefle from Notepad didn't work as required. I hope I've given you enough information, and someone can help me. Thanks.Active Mod Files:
  16. Does anyone know the answer to this dilemma, please? I've vistied The Mystic Emporium several times, and Calindil is nowhere to be seen. I've looked everywhere for him. Nowhere is he to be found. Strange, as he's been there every other time. Only things I'm doing differently is running HUD Alive and Oblivion XP Update. I'm playing Desuchan's Persocom 3.0 Reconstructed. I'm at a loss. He's been there every other time. I'm running the Mystic Emporium Fix, Mods Fix, Unofficial Oblivion and Unofficial Shivering Isles Fix. No joy. Aleninwae is there, but no Calindil. Oblivion Version I'm running is Steam Oblivion Game Of The Year. All help is appreciated.

    Hello Everyone

How you doing Sigus? Just replying to your greeting. Sorry,I can't help you with your problem. I have scant programming knowledge, I'm more of an artist than anything else. I'm still using Windows 7. Haven't upgraded to Windows 8 yet. I'll wait a while, get used to Windows 7. Good luck with your modding, enjoy your gaming. See you around.

    Saying hello

Sorry if I didn't do this earlier. Hello to everyone here. Just saying hi, and introducing myself. My name here is Assass1n1. This is not the name I was born with. Currently playing Oblivion; Player character Daywalker from BellaGail's Vampire Race Reloaded. Current Level 24. Started Skyrim, but thinking of redoing character. Do that after finishing Oblivion. I'll sign off now. Happy gaming.
  20. Added the Imperial voice to both characters so we'll see what happens. Probably should have mentioned this, they're two of the CM vampire Companions from the CM Vampire Race. Think that's the name. They're from the Kazee CM Vampire companion mod.
  21. Hi Legotrash; I'm back. I went in to the Construction Set, and added the DayWalker and Pureblood voices I found in the Races Tab in the Character menu. Still silent. i even made a couple of folders in the Voice folder, and called them Vampire Race Reloaded and CM Vampire Race. Nothing still. There are menus for both voices in the Race Tab, so I thought these would work. Still puzzling this one out.
  22. thanks fro that. I'll try this and let you know how I go. Sorry, I should have said this was for companions.
  23. I tried that and it worked. Thanks Legotrash. This is a beginning. What I need to do now is get them to hold conversations with people they meet in Mages Guilds, Shops, in the street, in Inns, anywhere they're travelling with the Player. They do all the lip syncing and hand movements any of the NPCs do anytine they're conversing with each other. They're not speaking though. That's what I want to solve next. I'm not sure how to do that. I'm new to Modding.
  24. Thanks. I'll try that and tell you how I go.
  25. Does anyone know the answer to this question, please? I'm using the Vampire Race Reloaded and Vampire Race Reloaded Patch. My Day Walker tends to be a bit on the silent side. I would like her to talk, make combat sounds, make sounds each time she jumps and lands. How do you get her to speak, make sounds and be less silent? All help is appreciated.
