Damn, that might be a little outta my league then :( Well, thank you for answering my questions so swiftly
-
Well this certainly helped me a lot, but I'm stuck at a new problem :( I'm trying to combine the pants from the Karliah Armor by Hentai, with the bra from the BlackTalon armor. I've managed to reduce the Blacktalon to only the bra, but the Karliah seems to have been done with the pants and jacket as 1 single object. Selecting either pants or jacket, selects them both :(

Hi there and thanks for opening this topic. I'll keep it short and spare you all the standard "who am I" story I'm looking for a way to edit a couple of armor mods, more specifically, break them into pieces so I can mix and match more freely. What I mean by that is I'd like to split them up and use the pants off 1 mod, together with the shirt from another. (Can't do it atm since they're both treated like vanilla armor where pants and shirt are 1 item) I've been doing some reading, and come to understand that this is possible with nifscope, I just seem to be too much of a noob to actually make it work. I can't load the armors into nifscope, since they only appear as bethesda plugin files, and not as any file extension that is actually visible to nif I'm obviously missing a step or 2 somewhere, I just can't figure out what it is. So if any experienced modder would be kind enough to write a "n00bs step by step" tutorial for me on how to split a piece of armor into more pieces and assign it to new body parts so as to be able to equip mix it with other pieces, I'd be very thankful :)

Oh like this, thanks mate :)

No I meant how you added your screenshot as a thumbnail to your post when you showed it as an example in this thread. A smaller version of the picture that can be clicked for the full size :)
-
Could you perhaps quickly tell me how to do a thumbnail like you did as well?

LE Request: Mining mod, swing like you mean it
Sha1yen replied to Sha1yen's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
I think the wall of text scares people :P While your stuff seems really cool, it's a bit over-the-top for me tbh. I just want a proper animation for swinging away at the ebony ore veins x) -
Thanks, number 3 was exactly what I was looking for :) I already knew about the tfc and sucsm, but even so, thanks a bunch for making the full list for anyone else who reads this :) Time to get creative! :D

Hi all, and especially hi screen-hunters. So I really started getting into taking screenshots lately, but there's 1 particular kind of screenshots that I can't seem to figure out how to make. I'm talking about the super close-ups of my characters face. I'm already somewhat familiar with free cam, but I can't seem to figure out how to get super close to anything on my character without having it clip through the camera. Is there a way to reduce the distance between stuff and the camera before it simply cuts it and looks through it? I've seen some amazing screenshots on here, where the person got so close that it was basically only the upper half of the face that took up the entire screen. I'd really appreciate if someone could tell me how to do screens like that

LE Request: Mining mod, swing like you mean it
Sha1yen replied to Sha1yen's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Bumping this up in the hopes that a talented modder will notice it and pick it up :ermm: -
Since switching to SevenBase body, my backwards walking has been somewhat glitchy, and I can't seem to find a way to fix it without uninstalling the body mod. What happens is that when I walk backwards, my character will actually move as if walking backwards-right, and when I stop she'll do a spasm turn before resetting to her idle stance. As if I'd been using 360 run/walk animations which I don't. I've tried a couple of walking and running mods, but they all seem to only focus on forward movement, and don't change the backwards motion. If anyone know of a way to clean up the animations for backwards movement, I'd be very grateful

I didn't notice it while skimming your wall of text, so I'd say try using the mod called SafetyLoad Solved a mountain of random CTD issues for me and thousands of others

Only the mods from steam show up if I open the launcher, which is nothing new, it's always been like that
-
Hi guys. So I've been using mods for quite some time now, and like many others I'm sure, with varying degrees of success. But nevertheless, with success. So today I decided to uninstall every single mod I had, and start over from scratch. After some 4 hours of downloading new versions of mods and installing everything, as well as editing .ini files and the likes for my enb, I launch the game. To my surprise it loads faster than I remember it ever doing, and I quickly realize why. Out of my 110 mods, only the 10 I got through the steam workshop seem to be loading. I tried running BOSS, and it only recognizes 15 plugins, which baffled me because it always worked perfectly, detecting everything I had installed. If I were to explain it plainly, it's seems that none of my SKSE mods are loading (and yes I updated SKSE to newest version, and yes I'm launching the game with it) Are there any geniuses who can think of something I might have done to cause this sudden change?

Looking for a way to add custom items to loot-table of world enemies
Sha1yen replied to Sha1yen's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
uhmmm... the object window? What's that? I don't really know how to mod, beyond activating stuff in the nexus manager  -
Pretty much what the title says. I've been looking for a way to add a balanced chance of enemies using custom weapons and armor. Preferably I'd like a way that let's me hand pick which items to include, as I don't want random Bandits running around with godlike enchanted Tera armor. Would also like to ensure that the items are added to loot tables at appropriate points in the game, so I don't drop dragonbone items at level 1. Any help in this matter would be most appreciated :)

This project makes me wish I actually had some kind of skills that could contribute to it  I can't program, I can't model, I can't compose and I can't voice act. But if you still have room for questline writers, I might actually be able to lend a hand

LE Request: Mining mod, swing like you mean it

Would really love for some talented modder to take this request (sorry for bumping, but some other guys just posted his thread like 5 times, so yeah...) -
LE Request: Mining mod, swing like you mean it
Sha1yen replied to Sha1yen's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Why would you get kicked out? While I can see the "cool immersion" factor of what you're saying, I think it would be messing too much with the game, since you're suddenly getting more stuff than intended. I guess what you're suggesting could be done like an optional add-on patch or something like that, but what I'm looking for is really just a proper follow-through, put-your-back-into-it kinda swing animation -
Greetings fellow gamers and players of Skyrim. I might as well be blunt and honest, I don't know the first thing about creating mods or how to animate. But I can still appreciate the amazing work that others produce. Ever since I started playing Skyrim, one thing in particular has irked (that a word?) me, and that is the animation for mining ore-veins. I would really like a simple (I have no idea how simple it can be done) mod that replaces the mining animations with something more realistic. Where my character actually swings like he/she is delivering a forceful blow to the hard rock, rather than just giving it the kind little love-taps that vanilla presented. I really hope that someone is willing to take on this request, as I have searched far and wide for a mod like this with no luck. Sincerely Sha1yen

That looks amazing, thanks a lot for the very fast reply :)

Hi everyone. I'm fairly new to Skyrim, and thus fairly new to this place. I've been looking around for armor remodels, but been having trouble finding the right one for me, so here's to hoping that someone might know of a hidden gem that has eluded my search. I'll go for a mod where the armor is crafted as well, as long as it has balanced stats What I'm looking for is something that remodels the armor of the game, rather than add new user-made items. The remodel should stay somewhat true to the original, but be more suggestive and alluring without being overly skimpy. I'd really like something where the upper body is somewhat covered, allowing for bare stomach and some cleavage, but without showing 75% of the breasts. And where the lower body is using shorts and skirts, rather than thongs and loincloths. If anyone reads this and knows of one or several mods that fits these parameters, I'd hugely appreciate any info they could share :)
