  1. So no one is even willing to try helping me? What about a tutorial? I've found two vanilla hairstyles that could go together and result in what I want. I just need a tutorial on how to combine hair models in NifSkope. Blender doesn't work for me, so that's out of the questions. I need to know about .egm files and whatnot. Thanks.
  2. Hello. I was wandering if anyone knows of any mods out there, or indeed is willing to make a mod, that have a Samurai-style Topknot. The ones in the vanilla game are not really that good. I'm looking for something like the "Gathered" hairstyle except with a topknot instead of a ponytail. I'm not fussed about adjustable length though. Some images of styles that I'm looking for (especially the first one): Main Reference Image Image 2 Image 3 Image 4 (the ones with the bald parts) If someone knows of a mod that includes something like this, please post a link or URL. If you are willing to attempt to make a mod like this, please let me know. Thanks.
  3. Hello, I am starting a small-scale Total Conversion for a school project and I was wandering how the guys working on Nehrim got their installer. I would love to have and installer and a laucher like theirs. So then people could either play my mod or Oblivion and wouldn't have to worry about conflics or changing Data Files every time. If you don't know, with Nehrim, you run the installer .exe and it creates a new installation directory for all of the Nehrim files. They also had their own Launcher.exe that was different from the Oblivion one and would run Nehrim and not Oblivion.. Does anyone know how I could make something similar? Any help is appreciated.   4. Umm... Nehrim: At Fate's Edge. Why? Because it is just great. The main quest had be busy for two weeks and it just looks and feels soooo much better than Oblivion. Note: Qarl's Texture Pack and Elsweyr: Anequina are close seconds.

As some of you may be aware, a few weeks ago, I posted a topic on these forums asking if their was any demand for a Total Conversion (for ES4 or ES5 if it is announced soon), in which anyone can come up with an idea. Be it a quest, settlement, race, anything. All ideas would be taken into account and (perhaps after some tweaking) might be added into the mod. 100% of responces to that topic said that they liked the idea of the User Input Total Conversion. So that's what this topic is for. If you have an idea that you would like to see in a completly hand-made, original Total Conversion please post it here. But please DO NOT post requests that your ideas are part of the Main Quest or the World (towns, caves, forts, etc. are fine, just no cities or regions), as these have already been sorted. Also, please do not post things like "Oh, this will never get finished" etc. If you have a comment like that post HERE on the old topic (it will still be looked at). REMEMBER: This topic is for ideas only, not questions or comments. Haloblivion
  6. Also. When you get the .exe working, you should extract the .bsa's in your Nehrim/Data folder. Just in case you are missing some textures or sounds ( I was missing 'em ).

  8. Yeah. Okay so the planning could still go ahead. Because, as mentioned above, a TC changes everything. And it could be made as the first TC for ES5.
  9. Yeah. You are probably right. But we don't know how long it will take for ES5 to come out (if they're making one). If only Bethesda would ANNOUNCE it. But I agree, the planning stage is most important and that should keep me occupied for a while. Still need a bit more demand for this mod though before I start anything.
  10. Well, its content would depend on what the people of the Nexus Forums could come up with. So, that should mean there are lots of very different ideas. Ergo, it wouldn't be the same as Oblivion or Morrowind. But I agree, a mod that is just another Morrowind or Oblivion would be pointless. P.S. I have tried Nehrim and that mod is excellent. If only it had English voice acting.
  11. Hello. I was wandering if there is any demand for a Total Conversion in which the community of this forum can input what they want to see in the mod. So if anyone has an idea for a quest, or city/town, etc. People can post on the topic page and if their idea is well structured and thought-out, it would be put into the mod. All this topic is for is seeing if their is demand. If you like the idea post on the poll. DO NOT post ideas on this topic, it is not what it is for. Thanks for polling, in advance.
  12. Hey. I was wandering if there is any way to change it so that when I sheath a longsword (ref = MasterSword), it goes on my character's back. I have tried changing the animations to the 2 handed ones, and using the mesh as a quiver, amulet, tail, and back weapon. Any ideas? or is there a mod that does this? Thanks!
  13. Okay, I have decided to start work on this and see how it goes. As I mentioned before, there are some areas of OoT that will be hard to implement into Oblivion. Hookshot springs to mind again (get it? "springs"). The Bosses will also be hard to make, like Morpha or Bongo Bongo (lol, funny name). But we'll see. If worst comes to worst, I may just release the land of Hyrule (buildings, NPCs, land). But, we'll see!
  14. I have a heap of mods that I like. But to narrow it down, here are the top 5: 1. Qarl's Texture Pack (well, it's just great) 2. Elsweyr: Deserts of Anequina (best 'new lands' mod ever! EDIT: Second-Best, after Nehrim) 3. Unique Landscapes (made me want to walk throug the country!) 4. Better Cities (love how much more detailed the cities are, esp. with Qarl's TP) 5. Feint Death (just so much fun!) So, they are my top 5!
  15. Hello. I have taken a break from modding recently, but... I was wandering what the demand is for a Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time mod. If this mod is to be made, it would have to only follow the adult story (no good children mods). However, there is the complication of weapons, items (hookshot springs to mind), and other things like that. So the game would begin in the Chamber of Sages, just after Link has taken the Master Sword out of its pedestal. And would obviously end after the defeat of Ganon(dorf). So what do you guys think? Just know that I am not currently working on this mod, but if there is enough demand... well, we'll see.
  16. There is a program that allows users to export and imports worlds (just the ground, no NPCs or Buildings, or even trees and grass) between Oblivion, Morrowind and Fallout 3. And you can also resize it. So you could export Cyrodiil in 2x scale (so it is to scale with Vvardenfell) and import in into Morrowind.
  17. Hello. I have Tamriel Rebuilt Maps 1 and 2 but when I go to any area in Map 1 (Firewatch in this case), I end up with two of every NPC. But only in exteriors... For instance, if I walk up to a gate there will be two guards (exactly identical) trying to stand in the same space. Does anyone know what's going on? Or has someone had this problem too and can help? Thanks in advance.
  18. Hi. I have dusted off my old Morrowind tome and got some really cool mods (Tamriel Rebuilt, MGE, Silgrad Tower). But, if I am in the far eastern reaches of Tamriel Rebuilt (in this case, Port Telvannis), I can't see myself on the map and when I click, it just centers. Is there any mod that fixes this so that I can be seen even when outside of the "game area"? (Must show map too, not just player arrow). Or do I have to change something in the .ini? Or is it just impossible? Thanks in advance

  20. Hey! I have made a city in my mod. It is broken into 5 districts, 4 circle the main palace in the middle. Anyway, I'm having a bit of a problem with the pathgridding (sp?). If I, say, attack a guard in one district (and resist arrest) I can simply run through the door into another district and the guards will not follow. I am using the default Imperial City load door (icdoor04). Is this a common problem, is there no way to get NPCs to use load doors. Any help would be appreciated! Haloblivion. P.S. I have already tried SubSpaces, but that didn't work. Because my city is round and the subspaces overlapped (sp?). So unless anyone has any idea how I could use subspaces to make the NPCs use load doors...
  21. WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T DONE THE "GREAT GATE" QUEST. Hello. I am making a mod, in which I wish to have my own statue. The statue is to be of an NPC (no, not the player) using the cast on touch animation. I was wandering how I would go about doing this. I know it is possible because when you complete the Great Gate quest, a statue of you appears in Bruma. I have looked through some scripts relating to this statue in the construction set, but could not understand it. So, if anyone can please post some scripts to use or something it would be great! Haloblivion. P.S. Additional info that might help: NPC to be made statue's ID: MVAlmalexiaStatue NPC to be made statue's Ref Name: AlmStatueRef Marker where statue should be Ref Name: AlmStatueMarker
  22. Hey. In my mod, I have a volcano. I raised the Water height in the cells near the volcano so that there is liquid in the crator. I then changed that water type to the Oblivion Lava. That all works fine, except for when I go near the volcano. When I go near the lava, all of my LOD water changes to the fiery substance. So one minute I will be running up the slopes of the volcano, gazing over the island that it is on and the sea beyond. Then I will go into the crator and, upon my exiting of the crator, my island is surrounded by an ocean of lava. Please Help. Haloblivion.
  23. Hey. Just a straightfoward request: I would like someone to make a dwaven gauntlet that only goes on you right hand. I can see how this would be done, but lack the skills to do so. The right hand should have the dwarven gauntlet and the left should have the mesh and texture of the default hand. If possible, I would like both a male and female version (but at the moment, the male version is needed more). Thank you! P.S. If a mod has been made that does this, please provide me with a link or URL.
  24. It has to be possible. I have seen it in mods such as VOILA - Voices of Imperial Legion Algamated. And I don't think that dialog was in the vanilla game. Unless they had REALLY good voice actor mimics, they made the voices seem to be spoken by the real voice actors.
  25. I apologise in advance if this has already been answered. I wander if there is a utility that makes voices for Oblivion. Similar to that in the "VOILA" mod. It could be a voice changer, a text to speech program, whatever. I just want to know if there is any program out there that will do this. Thanks.
