  1. i went into console & i placed her at me anyways i ended up solving this earlier by resurrecting lucan & clearing my marriage stuff in console they're a bit buggy now camilla owns the shop & lucan just walks around doing whatever but at least i can remarry Yeah, that's the wrong way to go for future reference. The "player.placeatme" command spawns a clone and not the actual NPC. What you should do in that type of circumstance is to look up the NPC RefID# on the UESP site then use the console and type... prid 13488 (in this case Camilla) moveto player Conversely you can go to the NPC instead if you wish by typing... player.moveto 13488
  2. My method is fairly simple, but effective. Open the console and type... playerenchantobject 877cb fb992 fb992 This enchants a Gold Sapphire ring (any piece of jewelry will work) with instantaneous (dependant on enchanting skill level) shout cooldown and places it in your inventory. Simply equip the ring when you need it and unequip it when you don't.
  3. How did you "spawn" her?
  4. You can check this mod out and see if that's what you're looking for.
  5. Did you try a transition to another cell like going into an interior from an exterior location or fast traveling? Some of my menus wouldn't show up until I changed location.
  6. It's possible for most NPCs, but there are limits. The NPC in question has to use a 'voice type' (female even-toned, young eager, etc,.) with the marriage dialogue in place. That pretty much excludes most of the uniquely voiced characters like Ulfric, Tullius, Vex, etc,. If you're handy with the CK just about anything is possible though. EDIT: There are also some NPCs that are in a marriage exclusion faction that would have to be worked around as well.
  7. There are a fair number of NPCs in the game that lose their 'essential' status as you progress quests that they're involved with. Here is a partial list that's missing some names since I know for a fact that Farengar and Sybille can both be killed after their respective quests. So it seems that Beth did try to work around the problem of 'unkillable' NPCs to a certain extent.
  8. That's a really strange problem. Do you have any vampire mods? Or any mods that change NPC dialogue/interaction behavior?
  9. I'll copy/paste from the other thread. Try that and see if it works.
  10. It's only Serana and certain npcs that I can't talk to. 95% of the npcs I have no problem. Is it only vampires that you have trouble interacting with?
  11. It sounds like maybe your key bindings got messed up. Try setting your keyboard bindings to default and redoing them.
  12. Talk to Maramal and buy an Amulet of Mara. Put on the amulet and go to Grelka at her stall or wherever. Open console and click on Grelka. Type in these commands: addtofaction 00019809 1 setrelationshiprank 4e0b3 4 Close the console and initiate a dialogue with her. You should get the "Interested in me" dialogue option for a marriage proposal. Fair warning though, she's a bit of a shrew so you may regret this choice. Or not. *shrug*
  13. I still do not have a world-map character-position-arrow in the official 1.8 version. Do you know any solution to this? I've switched to using EzEs -Colored Map Markers- and it fixed the issue for me. It's a bit colorful for my taste, but it's functional and better than not having quest markers at all.
  14. If you do NOT 'take' the mysterious letter from Ustengrav and have it in your inventory this will happen. Having the mysterious letter in your inventory will fix this problem. If he has the same problem that I have (sounds like it) then no that won't fix the problem. A new game doesn't fix it either. I've fixed it before by disabling mods and starting a new game, but I never bothered to hunt down the offending mod that was responsible. Since I started a fresh game and gotten glitched again I'm going to hunt down the mod responsible this time and let the author know. It's a tedious process but it needs to be done. Having the note in my inventory did not fix the issue. So it's probably an offending mod or a bad installation. Are you using either of the two mods I listed? When I disabled AFT and GDO on a new game the problem was resolved. I'm not sure which one of the mods caused the bug, but I was able to get the "attic room" dialogue from Delphine with both disabled. GDO. Guess the creator needs to be informed. I'll ask him nicely to check it out and see if he can confirm that there's a problem. *shrug*

It seems to be either Amazing Follower Tweaks, Guard Dialogue Overhaul or maybe both. I don't have time to dig further right now, but disabling those two mods fixed the problem for me.
  17. Hi all. I'm trying to create a Frenzy Rune spell for my stealthy Breton assassin. I was hoping to get a bit of advice. I've got the spell and spell tome created and they show up in game. I'm able to cast the rune but when it fires off I don't get the frenzy effect on the target. So I'm basically asking for some help with troubleshooting my spell. Any and all advice/help/suggestions are welcome and greatly appreciated. TIA
