So I'm playing through Skyrim for the first time, have been playing the game for a few months and have gotten pretty far. But I want to start another playthrough as well, someone weaker and more 'realistic' than my highpowered Dovahkiin. Would downloading mods like Live Another Life and Realistic Needs and diseases break the game I've already started?

Would it be possible to create a script that caused a custom follower to lose 5 health points per game day, or something similar, without regenerating them unless healed by the player or given a health potion? Would this affect be very detrimental to the follower's usefulness? I'm planning a small story mod, and this effect would add to it, but I don't want to render the follower useless.

What is the best way to add a simple emblem to a prexisting armor? (Creating a new armor, not replacing the one in the game). Is this possible?

Thank you for your response! I managed to fix it by deleting the .esp file I had created (I didn't have any other mods) and reloading a previous save.

Hi, I'm new here so I really hope I'm doing this right. I've been playing Skyrim on my laptop for a few weeks and had no problems. Today, however, when I loaded my game my character suddenly couldn't sprint for more then a few seconds- he would stop after the stamina bar had gone down just a small fraction, and the stamina bar would reload. In addition, when I hit the sprint key the character slows as if overloaded for a moment before jerking forward and then slowing to a normal run pace a few seconds later. I attached sprint to a different key of the keyboard, and it didn't fix the problem. Sprint works fine when I am using 3rd person view, but the camera for 3rd person won't work properly anymore- it zooms as far as it can away from the player character and won't get closer. I installed the creation kit prior to this happening, and created a test file to try it out. However, I deleted the test file after this started happening, and reloaded the game. It's still happening.
