Sorted, uninitiated in start up box, started game, resaved and reinitiated and map marker appeared

Come on guys why wont this work?

Okay, I have installed the mod and it has appeared in my Journal as the quest `By the light of the mmon'. If i mark it as current I have no quest markers on my map! I have done a few searches and found it is supposed to start in the Dead mans drink, Falkreath but no doors in the pub!!! can anyone tell me how this kicks off? I am running the PC version Thanks in anticipation

My apologies all, my ini file checks out, data files is working but any mods I have set up, including any using nexus mod manager dont show up in the data files section at all (especially titanis which always showed up before) my steamm platform went up the swanny so had to relaod it, re-downloaded skyrim and now my mods just wont show up any idea guys K

yep, just cottoned onto that, saw it was pre-order in the DLC apologies folks..! a bit keen to get to grips

Ok so I purchased Dragonborn off the steam panel, got my confirmation email. Now, I can see the dragonborn DLC if I right click on the game in steam and look at DLC, but my computer didnt download enything or no files to tick in the start up panel under the `data files' tab..... am I missing something..! Dawnguard has files you can see confused!!

I had loads of ctd before 1.4. I was running skse etc due to shite framerate in markarth and white run. Also quite a few mods installed including tytanis ultimate and a few graphic mods. When I installed 1.4 I immediately got at least 3/4 of ctd less. So I reinstalled game and selected mods and only get about 1 ctd per session now. I am currently upgrading my machine including windows 7 64 bit so will need to reinstall again so will b interesting to see what happens

I did the college quest, companion quest, main quest in that order. Now I am left with the dark brotherhood quests to run and need to pik a side for the civil war, so basically still plenty to do. I also walk everywhere to ensure I discover as many places as I ca to check out. Just keep gaming there is absolutely loads to do Stormbringer

Must say, my game was ctd at least 3 or 4 times per session so after the 1.4 update I decided to clean out sky rim ( as I had installed quite a few mods). So I uninstalled, deleted all files put the disk back in re-installed including selective mods, and so far only about 1ctd per session but the cities including markarth runs smoothly without skse or sky boost Stormbringer

Hi all, this is my second run through after doing a quick first look, I am currently level 63 after doing plenty of random quests and I have triggered off the thieves quest, completed the college quests and visited the Greybeards in High hrothgar but that is as far as I have gone with the main quest. If you run through the main quest to its completion, can you still go back and do the drak brotherhood, companions quests etc?? what order have you done the game in? Stormbringer

Yep, did that first run through, its all over for you now, i think i went back to the night mother about 5 or 6 times and then gave it up as pretty boring..!!!

Must say, i find some of the dragons antics quite amusing. I was attacked by an ancient dragon yesterday whilst up a steep incline, he/she came in a little too close and promptly crashed into the side of the hill, skidded upwards for about 50 feet then managed to get back in the air and then chickened out and flew off...! I got the walkthrough book from the missus for christmas and i can honestly say that there are hundreds of quests. It is truly magnificent the amount that they have squeezed in, from very short `deliver this note / package' to long `multiple destination / character interaction' So personally, I am more than happy with the quest content. I have restarted my character, not done the thieves / companion / dark brotherhood quests yet or gone beyound meeting the greybeards for the first time and already at about level 35+ with some of my perks up near the hundred already, so no complaint from me...!!! would like to say great mod, i installed it yesterday, skse & TESV and played for 5 hours straight, no lags and no CTD's when i was getting at least 3 - 4 per gaming session. Stormbringer

if you did the cidnha mine quest and helped the old guy in prison you will be constantly attacked because of it.

On my first quick run through, I got to lvl 40+ and had 22 dragon souls collected which activated all the shouts I had collected from the Walls. I have started another character and am at lvl 20 and not encountered more than half a dozen...weird...!

Good little 'evil' quest that one...!

Personally I will be looking for dlc type mods that will have additional tasks/quests using modders vast imaginations.

At lest in the gothic 3 series you were crowned emperor, once the orcs were defeated
