Well I dont know anything about hex editing and I want to be able to add to soldiers and aliens to balance things.So I guess I will wait for lw+ew to get finished.

Thanks for that. It doesnt talk about modding overwatch from what I can see.Im going to assume its difficult to do.

Would like to either add opportunist perk to all soldiers and aliens from the start or modify hit chance for overwatch. I have adjusted hit chance for long range shots to be lower so aliens stop sniping from max distances but it has made overwatch useless. I have always wanted to buff overwatch anyway cause it wasnt very useful for punishing a unit for running out in the open. So far I only know how to mod from the default core ini.

This seems to have worked thanks. I need to run xcom and verify everything but this was an easy work around for my problem.Also thanks to everyone else who tried to help. Edit:Just finished first lw mission.Everything seems to be running smooth thanks alot!

I dont have a compatability mode in properties. Also process from link didnt work either. Almost as if it doesnt recognize it as a program?Maybe I should go back to 7 lol.I just got xcom and finished vanilla and was really looking forward to long war mod :(

All that did was give me an extra option in the list"copy as path".

How? I have Win 8.1 and I see no options for that?

I also had trouble with the downgrade file.It just kept asking me if it could make changes to my computer over and over.
