  1. Greetings, I'm fairly new to modding. The only reason I'm trying to mod at the moment is because I think Skjor looks lame in vanilla and deserves some love, and I can't find any mod that gives him justice. Basically, I've been following this post here : http://oneneatcat.tumblr.com/post/53692040731/how-to-change-an-npcs-face-in-skyrim And also helped myself with this post here : https://levelskip.com/rpgs/Hot-to-Turn-Your-Skyrim-Character-into-a-Follower I keep searching everywhere but beside the first link I've shown you, I haven't found any tutorial on how to modify an existing NPC. First, I went in my game and created a look I found okay through the racemenu (goddammit, why is it that none of these hair mod show GREY hair, why are they always blonde. Also, so hard to make a guy look old X__X ), as shown in thefirst attached picture.Now, when I open the CK, I make sure to select KS Hairdo.esp (since I need an haircut from this mod) along with Skyrim.esm and Update.esm .I'm locating Skjor in the actor's list then double-click on it.I then click on "IMPORT", then PREVIEW and then.... Not quite what I expected. The facial build looks good, problem comes from the haircut and the warpaints.I gives him a generic haircut instead of the one I chose, and there's nor warpaints, nor makeup.I change to the correct hair, but nothing to do with the warpaints and makeup.Then, I press OK, do the CTRL + F4, save and exit. I go ingame aaaand. Back to the false haircut, no warpaints, no makeup (as shown in the second picture) What's wrong? Is it something I'm not doing correctly? I've also tried with Skyrim NPC Editor (I found a copy still available on Curse). I just tried it ingame and now, I got the haircut I wanted but still no warpaints. I do have a warpaint replacer (Battle Hardened Warpaints by Diethardt and netherwalk) but I'm pretty sure it's no the issue here (I have found post around internet about people complaining the warpaints don't show up). My plan is to create a full esp/bsa and to port it to my SSE afterwards for personal use (I don't plan to upload it on the nexus unless I'm 100% satisfied with it and get all the permissions to do so)

  4. Greetings, so I've been playing lately and managed to build all 3 homes from Hearthfire and I couldn't help but notice that they look so boring. The colors are really cold, the walls are white/yellowish and hnnnng. It doesn't feel like a "cozy home". Plus, the 3 houses are exactly the same. Same textures and everything. Logic would be that each house should get it's own feeling, have their difference. Why choose then? I'm really not a modder, otherwise I would have tried to create a mod myself, but I just can't understand how the Creation Kit works. Here's what I'm looking for >> If each home would have it's own easthetic characteristic. (For example : Lakeview is on the border of a lake, surrounded by trees. It would feel normal to have a house made out of trees. Heljarchen is on a cold/windy plain, surrounded by mines and is near some giant's place, so a more rocky look would be more evident. Tho, I don't know if they share the same files or not.) I just want these houses to look more comfortable and less cold. You can have a stone house look comfortable, but not that yellowish one. I've been through all the houses and retextures pages on the SSE Nexus (and even the Oldrim Nexus) and couldn't find anything like it. All I found was house expansions I really don't need. It's a shame to spend so much time building these and for them to end up looking so plain and cold. For whoever would make this, or find me this (I might have passed over something like that, I've searched for a while), I really thank you for your time. EDIT : I've just noticed a mod I'm using (Skyrim - Whiterun Textures by Katoxivar -- http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/9744/? ) edit's these textures too and give a very very nice effects. So it works marvellously for me. I'm editing so people can know. However, I would still be interested to see other people's work and if they could make them work independently.
  5. Hi there, So I basically started playing Witcher 2 again and even tho I like the vanilla version, I'd like to enhance it with mods. Problem is, half the mods I'd want to use use the base_scripts.dzip file. I know I need to use Gibbed Red Tool but after spending a couple hours on it, I really can't get how to use it.   6. You can lock this post! I found out it was a file from SkyUI missing. Don't know why, because I never touch these things, but oh well, I reinstalled it and it now works!
  7. Hi there. I have some issue with my game. Obviously, it must come from my mod and/or the load order. I'm suspecting it comes from Requiem and Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade. I also happen to have Utopolysts Item Sorting. I think it's something going on with two or all of them. I also obviously have SkyUI. So here is my problem : When I look in my inventory, everything is fine. Same for the merchant's sale list, looting, everything. BUT, when I try to craft something, the list doesn't show up. It is there, I can over it, but I can't see the name. Also, even if I would select the "Armor" category, all the list is there (and not just the armor). I used to have this problem but I managed to correct it. I don't remember how. I've uninstalled all my mods and Skyrim because of some problems with an ENB, and installed them all again. I know my load order is long, but everything works fine except for that (hardly no CTD). It also does it when I use LOOT. Also, it shows 228 mods but it's actually 155. Modular ETaC makes it look much worse than it actually is. I hope you guys can help me, because it's a real problem when it comes to build a house or craft an armor set and find THE thing you want to create. Thanks for the support. EDIT : I've tried disabling Requiem, CCO, Immersive Armors, Utopolysts Item Sorting. Everything together, one after the other, etc. Nothing.   8. Skyrim was made around a x32 system. So it has its limit. Even if you have the most powerful computer in the word, the game has its limitations. Also, ENB are really FPS heavy. Other than that, I can't really help you, just sharing what I know.
