Stupidguy

The only thing that has kept me playing is collecting crap and storing it in my house. My wife is useless, unless like on one of my other characters it's the Nord chick from Riften. Magic seems so blah too. I've got roughly 4 spells for Frost, Fire and Lightning, and imo the rest of the magic schools suck. The alchemy is nice though, but, it's pretty much the same thing as past games, only now you can watch your character grind in bowl repeatedly. I share the OPs boredom quite a bit though. The only place I feel they really succeeded was the art. Not the graphics, those kinda suck, but the world environment, dungeons etc are really nice. What I really hated was, after finishing the main quest, no one even cared. It's as if nothing had ever happened. At least in Morrowind you were hailed as Neravarine, and Oblivion you got a statue. But in Skyrim, they all act like it didn't happen, instead they sit there and insult my magic and tell me to be careful.

Ain't that the truth...People are extremely self entitled. Gimme gimme gimme and never expect to give back. I like games where people don't talk to each other, because it seems everyone is an a**wipe if they're talking. *cough* WoW *cough* Anyways great article. :armscrossed:

I heard it was only curiass, greaves and pauldrons that were combined. But it's bound to snowball eventually.

Yeah it's a bit over hyped, but that mostly due to it's legacies, and the company making it. I just take everything with a grain of salt. I'm half expecting it to suck, and half expecting it to be amazing. :thumbsup:

I don't think bonemold will be in, nor will chintin or dreugh (all assumptions) I don't know what that lame looking stuff in the screens is though, new elven? :hurr:

Hmm I would actually prefer Dwemer ruins from Morrowind over a new art style. But, they will probably be different none the less. I don't think they showed the new ruins yet though.

Point in case is, consoles offer a simple, and often/most times cheaper solution for playing video games, with nice eye candy. PCs offer something much different, greater eye candy and performance with the ability to do work, internet surf, etc...and honestly it is usually more expensive, but that's the nature of the beast. Some people like to grow their apples from seeds, because they enjoy it, and they get a better apple, some like to get them at the store. Simple as that, each offers its own perks. As for stalling, I think it can be as simple as economy. We still had crisis though (I honestly can't remember when it came out, and I'm to lazy to check), give it time, things will advance. They've advanced enough I'm building a new rig now.
