  1. Hello, I installed the Sim Settlements mod and everything seemed to work except I didn't get the initial popup asking me questions that are supposed to dictate how I'd like to interact with the mod. I even restarted my save when I first got the little items in the history museum and it didn't pop up. I thought nothing of this, but when I assign a manager to a settlement and come back after a few days, nothing happens. Am I mistaken in thinking assigning a manager means that the settlers will start using my resources to do what they want with them? Any help would be appreciated, especially if I missed a step somewhere :)
  2. You know, really weird, but I thought I had purchased the season pass ages ago and just realized I did not. That fixed it. Mod seems to work except I can't get rid of the millions of annoying tiny little sprouts of grass coming out of the ground. Just to be clear, referring to all of these in the shot https://i.imgur.com/p1y26UC.jpg Thanks!
  3. Hello there. I have a rather modest selection of mods enabled. https://i.imgur.com/HlZR8zQ.jpg As you can see by the list, it's at the bottom of the load order. It simply does not work in-game. No changes from vanilla scrapping. All the other mods seem to work fine, with the exception of No NPC comments - I have that weird bug (apparently rare) where my companion doesn't stop talking in new environments, repeating the same phrase over and over. The mod didn't help, I've pretty much given up on that. Any help appreciated!
  4. language is a hard thing to disypher...don't you agree? Yes, sorry. English is not my first language, not sure about you. I appreciate your help. :)
  5. I fixed the other issues, but your assertion about ram usage is ... mistaken. Unless you're just referring to Fallout 3's usage? Windows x64 can take plenty advantage of more than 2.5 GBs of RAM... up to 16.8 million terabytes, in fact. I'm using 10GB at a constant rate right now. Edit: Apologies, you must be specifically referring to Fallout 3. Yeah, I was aware of that, I was just throwing out random system specs. I realize RAM isn't very useful for game knowledge, but I'd rather show I have too much than for someone to wonder if I had too little.
  6. Windows 7, x64. GTX 770, 24GBs of RAM (stuck in extra I had lying around, and RAM is cheap so...) and an i5-4670k. Built it about a year and a half ago. Only game I've had issues with thus far. I sorted with NMM per M48A5s suggestion: http://i.imgur.com/T5UyUiq.jpg I'll also give my FO3 folder and its files full permissions. I forgot to install it into C:/games this time.
  7. Unfortunately it doesn't appear to be a mod issue. I confirmed that someone else, without mods, has the same issue as myself. I also recorded several more videos of instances where other things flicker like this. I think there's a GPU issue or something at play. No idea how to go about fixing it, though. Hey, I appreciate that, but I decided to go ahead and upload the videos I was referring to: https://youtu.be/lOOL_Ag-T_U - If you look in the background, you will see textures going crazy. https://youtu.be/tt2b0RTn7tg - Here you see the outline of the lake having some issues https://youtu.be/vR0kXo1gpBU - Here you can see the colors of the bottles going from light to dark, both when jostled or when I change my view, even slightly. I think I agree with you that those signs do that naturally (or else it would be very silly that everyone has the same problem, which doesn't seem the case). However, the first video in my link is clearly not intentional, nor is the second. No idea about the third. Are these fixable instances or just something I have to deal with? Thanks!

  9. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTBM9BJd12M I know it's only a two second video, but the signs in it are pretty clear if you max the screen and look at them. Here's my list of mods: http://i.imgur.com/bqM80Ny.jpg Turning off Realistic Interior Lighting, Streelights, and Megalight.esp do nothing. In fact, it doesn't seem to be a mod issue at all... with all mods turned off, it still does it...
  10. just a little more information is required here, a history of things done and in what order of these things done at? I know it was only a few days ago but I already forgot. I think I just re-did the process slowly.
  11. Edit: Disregard. Installed 1.7 twice more to mess around with it and now it's magically working. Oh well. Hey, mates. I got some of my mods set up, fixed an issue with LOOT, and then got the game running. Oops! Says I need FOSE. So I grabbed it, threw the stuff in the directory, and now it says I have the wrong version installed. Fallout 3 is patched to 1.7 with all the DLCs installed. Am I missing something? :S Thanks in advance!
