  1. I wonder how difficult it would be to design a scan program that would run through your game files and determine which files are incompatible with the current version. CDPR has a really bad habit of releasing tiny patches that destroy your game and make them completely unplayable. Only taking literal days out of your life to find out it was just one, tiny mod you had forgot about that the author moved on from and hasn't updated it in forever. This is annoying, and wish there was some kind of way to just quickly go through your mods and files, so you can just remove that file(s) and get on with your game. It could be for Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2007, and any other CDPR game. I'm no programmer, so I can't imagine how difficult (or simple?) it would be to make a tool like this, but I'd be willing to back some money for whoever can figure it out. I'm so sick of not being able to play my games, cause CDPR forgot to make sure an NPC's head turns left instead of right, and decided to make a patch for it.
  2. Okay, after much trial and error, and research, I finally figured it out. It has something to do with the hard drive I installed it on and it's sector size. Luckily for me and anyone else that might run into this problem, there is already a fix on the nexus for it. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/71567?tab=description
  3. As far as I know, they are as they should be. I don't know of any changes that would have have done to change it. I rarely ever edit the INI's.
  4. I'm having an issue that I've never come across until now. The audio intended for the player character is completely missing. No footsteps, no grunts, no weapon clashing, even the sound for sheathing and unsheathing is missing. Nothing else seems to be affected, Environmental, music, NPC voices are all still audible. Only the audio normally used for the PC is gone. The make matters stranger is that it doesn't seem to be caused by a mod (or at least plugin based mod.) I removed all my mods, and the problem still remains. I even tried reinstalling Skyrim, and nothing seemed to help. I've been trying and failing to fix this problem for days. Does anyone have any clue what could be causing this?
  5. I'm having issues with specific meshes from mods instantly crashing Nifskope when I go to edit them. Specifically, I'm attempting to edit the B-90 Armor but every time I try to open basically any of the models the mod provides Nifskope instantly crash. I've come across other mods the cause the same problem. Might it be that I'm missing an addon to the tool that I'm unaware of to open some of these meshes? I'm using the 2.0.0 Alpha 4 version of Nifskope, and default meshes open perfectly. I can also open most modded meshes as well for the exception of just a few.
  6. For the life of me, I still can't figure out what is wrong with these meshes. I even started from scratch using the tutorial, and it still crashes when the wearer is struck. I'm at a loss. I'm going to upload the meshes here in hopes that someone can look at them and tell me what I'm doing wrong. The meshes replace the Minutemen General outfit and Prestons' outfit. Most of the armor uses vanilla textures besides the pants and shirt, which I've added the texture to the file. I hope someone can help me out with this. I'm used to Skyrim and Fallout 3 meshes. Fallout 4 meshes seem to be in a league of their own. http://www.mediafire.com/download/zprd1suah61g4d4/Rugged_Minutemen.7z
  7. The only programs I used were Nifskope Pre-alpha 4 and Bodyslide Studio 3.0. I'll give the link a look, though. Maybe there's something I missed.
  8. I need the help of an experienced modeler. I'm trying to build a mod called Rugged Minutemen. It will change the armors of the minutemen to look more badass and wasteland-esk. I've made the armors and tested them in game. Everything runs fine except for the fact that the game completely crashes when anyone wearing the armor is hit with a melee attack. I haven't the faintest idea why this is happening. Fallout 4 meshes are pretty new and confusing to me. Does anyone have a clue what's causing it and how I can fix it?
  9. I'm looking for a mod that gives you and puts a lot of the female 101 dwellers in an asortment of more athletic vaultwear. The items looked similar to basketball gear. Shorts, tanktops, sneakers, I think one even added high heels. I remember using this mod last I played Fallout 3, but after looking though, I could not find it. I can't remember the name of it, so maybe I'm just not using the right words in the search.
  10. I'm looking for an arm mounted weapon. Something similar to Arm X Arms for Fallout 3.
  11. I'm trying to customize a house using custom objects from a resource, but after moving them around on the CK, they don't move in-game. I made sure to save multiple times to make sure it wasn't because I was forgetting to save. It only seems to be with custom objects. All vanilla objects would move without a problem. Is there a specific way of moving non-vanilla objects in the CK?
  12. That's an option, but I was really hoping to get the two to work together. I'll try that if there isn't another solution. I modified it using blender to fit over the helmet, so it's not an exact copy of the default beret.
  13. I'm in the process of building a new armor. Here is a screen of it here: http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c226/angel235229/Untitled-2_zps778658e4.jpg The male's not done yet, but I I'm having issues with one of the helmets. Here is a screen of said helmet: http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c226/angel235229/BeretHelmet_zpsa428818c.jpg It's almost done for the exception of one thing. This is what the same helmet looks like in game: http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c226/angel235229/NoBeret_zps451d20fa.jpg The beret doesn't appear in game at all. Everything else attached works fine, but the beret is just not showing. I used the original 1stRecon mesh. Does anyone have any advice, or suggestions how I can fix this?

  15. Wow. Found the Environment Map and removed it. Damn, I could kiss you, but I'll just settle for thanking you. Thanks a million.
  16. I've recently start expanding my knowledge of meshes using Nifskope, and Blender. I've been trying to figure out what exactly what causes this odd shine to this particular armor. In the first image, you can see how it looks in Nifskope. The second is how it appears in game. I've never really liked this glossy effect. It especially looks weird in the dead of night where there's no light to reflect. Can anyone tell how I can remove this shine from the mesh?
  17. So I've been changing the cosmetics of NPCs that are added by another mod, but I've discovered that editing even the smallest detail in the creation kit causes the mod to glitch (repeated dialogue and NPC resetting). So I've been trying to figure out how to change the NPCs from the using a separate plugin, but any esp I make doesn't cause any cosmetic change to the NPC. My guess is that the original mod isn't considered a master to the esp I'm trying to make. How do I change an NPC from one esp, using another esp?
  18. I really don't understand why the modified mesh would be crashing my game whenever I equip it to my PC.
  19. Some new steps have definitely been added between Oblivion and Skyrim. For one, I had to install a new add-on just to use Nifskope with Skyrim meshes.
  20. I've just recently started getting into modeling and texturing for Skyrim. My last experience with this venture was with Fallout and New Vegas, but Skyrim seems a little more complex than what I'm use to. I'm breaking myself in gently by just simply editing the scale, positions, and combining two meshes together to make one... Aaaaand I crashed my game! I'm use to simply transforming or adding meshes together and applying them, but whenever I go in-game, I get a crash whenever I equip the new mesh. I've experimented with them, and either the meshes don't appear, or the game crashes. I'm clearly missing something, but whenever I try to google for an answer, or a tutorial, I get old, very dated videos and forum tutorials. Can anyone let me know what I'm missing, or know of any Skyrim specific Nifskope tutorials I can use to brush up on?
  21. After regrettably removing SkyUI from my mods list, the crashes stopped. It pains me to realize that was the cause of the problem. I'm hoping the SkyUI team develops a patch soon. v.v If I had known this was going to happen, I wouldn't have even updated the damn game. >.<
  22. I've recently started having CTD issues since I updated to 1.8.151.0.7. It happens when I try to access the in-game menus. It doesn't happen every time, but ever so often if I press the tab or escape key, my game crashes. It never happened until I update to 1.8. Can anyone help me out?
