I've just bought a new laptop with a GTX 860m specs here: 15.6" FHD (1920 x 1080) LED MatteNvidia GeForce GTX 860M with 2GB GDDR5 VRAMIntel Core i7-4710MQ Processor (6M Cache up to 3.50 GHz)8GB DDR3 1600MHZSamsung 840 EVO 250GB mSATA SSD1TB 7200RPM HDDIntel 7260 AC Dual Band Wireless and BluetoothDVD +- R/RW DLWindows 8.1 64BITIntel HD Graphics 4600 Most of my games that I have tested are limited to 30 fps, these include Skyrim, TF2, Witcher 2, and strangely, Minecraft. This is strange because it happens when I select use Nvidia card, and it is set to default in the control panel, vsync is also disabled, Has anyone else had this issue and how can I fix it?

Thanks man! Makes it a bit more playable than before (still at about 22) I can live with that till I get my new laptop for school next year, ( with at least a GTX 780 :) ) Thanks

Well, I swap between ENB's a lot, I've recently been using Somber, Project Enb and Tamriel Reloaded, What ENB setting would you reccomend to disable? (Without an extremely noticeable graphic loss) Thanks

Being an avid taker of screenshots, I cannot live without an ENB, problem is, it turns my skyrim into a 10fps hell hole. I have been using ENB for a long time and know there is a large FPS drop to sacrafice, but 10 FPS? Its crazy. I have an Intel Core i5-3330 Cpu, and a GTX 650 (pretty sure its 4gb) and 8gb of RAM. Should the FPS drop be that big? from 60 down to 10. Even without the 2k textures and just default skyrim, its 10-15. So is it just my specs or is it something else? thanks

I would say about 20ish, taking into account slow computers etc, (I'm no expert though) And I think it might get pretty crowed with any more than that,

Why is thinking of a name so difficult?!

A good house mod is The Eagles Nest. You have to find the book, do a quest, and have to pay for extras such as a guard and clutter and stuff. I also highly recommend checking out Elianora's houses, My favorite house mod though, is Riverside Lodge, you don't really have to do anything to get it though (just pick a chest open), so it might not be what you're looking for.

I don't exactly know how performance heavy Skyrim HD LODS is but you could try it. You can also try out the Skyrim distance overhaul.

Hey guys - May sound like a bit of a noob here but I was wondering, how do I create custom textures. Dont tell me to get photoshop - nifskope - blender etc. as I am already using them. I know how to implement custom textures and everything. I just don't know how to create the textures themselves. So, if you have experience in this sort of thing or have any advice let me know. Or let me know about some good tutorials :)

Well, if you are a big fan of taking screenshots and like high quality textures, (and your computer can handle it) try Skyrim HD or Tamriel reloaded. Both are awesome texture mods. Also Highly recommending ENB by Boris Vorontsov you can watch some great ENB vs Non-ENB on Youtube, they are performace heavy though.

THANK YOU TO ALL MODDERS FOR WHAT YOU DO!

Yeah, Thanks guys for Everything you do! Especially Boris Wouldn't be anywhere without ENB :) -
I have a problem with my ENB, when I use the d3d9.dll I get a CTD when I load a savegame. The loading screen shows up, goes for the normal amount of time then CTD's with no error or anything. The injector works fine, but I want to try different ENB's that for some reason dont work with Injector. I have the latest NVidia Drivers running on a GTX 650, with an Intel Core i5 CPU. My directx is also fully updated. Is anyone else having this problem and do you have a fix?

Hello, I'm not new to using ENB. But I'm at my wits end trying to figure this out. With Seasons of Skyrim Enb and Serenity, whenever my character submerges underwater in an exterior location, I get an instant CTD. The only fix I know of is turning off DOF in the SkyrimPrefs.ini but I take alot of screenshots and dont want to turn it off. Does anyone have a fix? Thanks
