  1. I think once a modder creates a modding tool you will see alternate skins, costumes etc. I'm not expecting anything as advanced as GTA 5 or Skyrim, though.

     

    A lot could depend on the popularity of the game as well. Reviews have been mixed so far meaning that potential modders could be holding off buying it or won't be buying it at all.

  2. In Morrowind the vampire NPCs used different sound files for the sounds they made when attacking, being attacked etc. They sounded distorted and demonic. There was a mod for Morrowind that added these voice files to the player as well when they became a vampire.

     

    My request is for a mod that adds the same to Skyrim, so that vampire both PC and NPC make more sinister and beastly sounds when fighting.

  3. Just had a number of comments deleted and was warned. Not sure what can be said other than i'm disappointed.

    Have frequented this site since not long after it became what it is today. TES modding is the sole reason i became a PC gamer because i wanted to reap the rewards of and make the most of the games i genuinely love. The Elder Scrolls Series.

    Paid mods might suck hard, but at least i'm neither a part of that, nor the vile and uncreative backlash like we see currently, and that is actually celebrated with endorsements. Even more depressing.

    I like to give credit where credit is due and wish that my wallet allowed me to be more generous than i have been. Some of the things you talented folk have given to us deserve more than the few beans we've given to you. You're the lifeblood of TES games.

  4. Hello,

     

    I downloaded a mod called War Of The Commonwealth which i eventually realised was quite buggy and uninstalled it. Unfortunately, one of the issues seems to have persisted in that the synths in the game are non hostile towards me which ruins the game. FYI i haven't joined the institute or even got far enough in this playthrough to align myself with them. This is also a problem that others using this mod have had.

     

    I'm not sure how to go about fixing this issue and the only thing i can think of is some sort of script cleaning to get rid of whatever WOTC left in my game. The alternative is to start a new game.

     

    Can anybody suggest anything that might help?

  5. It's embarrassing that something that should be standard in modern games has been reduced to a feature, and a missing feature in this case.

     

    Given the improvements made to character cosmetics through the inital creation system and layered armor, it's shocking that they would then take this many steps back, and even go back game generations.

     

    It's a joke for something like this to be an issue in a modern AAA game, and worse their false advertising shows the character with the gun on their back.

     

    I hope that it's as simple as changing an ini setting, but if bethesderp made it impossible for the modders to fix this laughable piece of game design, then the most doable thing would be to use the layered armor system to create concealed holsters for back, waist, legs etc and ensure that guards, soldiers and hostile NPCs always have their weapons in hand.

  7. Would be nice if anyone knew how to get a batface vampire character.

     

    I see a lot of people complain about their character looking uglier, but i'm pretty envious because that's the look i want for my vampire.

  8. As far as transformation goes, i think a mist form would work well with the kind of vampires you could imagine the Volkihar to be.

     

    Sounds good, could act as a chameleon or invisible affect that allows you to move past your enemies.

    That and if you want to get into some one's home, would have to follow the basic vampires laws of persuading them to let you in.

    Not sure if that really abides by Elder Scroll vampires. Tell, do you still look like a old person with cancer? Also do you still get weaker from drinking, which is backwards from the normal vampires?

    I've not actually played as a vampire, and i don't intend to unless someone recreates the Volkihar as they should've been. I can't tell you if they turn into crinklefaces, but i do know that feeding does make you weaker, just like the joke system in Oblivifail. It's exactly the same.
