  1. You have this piece of advanced high tech power armor, but you can't switch between features except at a work station. You would think that given the level of technology that produces a fusion powered suit of armor would also come with a switch allowing you to switch between mods at will. With the exception of the JetPack, you should be able to switch between mod features while in the suit and in the field. For instance, switch from senor to recon after spotting the enemy, switch to Tesla when confronting Mole Rats, etc.
  2. Thoroughly enjoying FO4...when I'm not having to wait for an F4SE update.
  3. Thanks. A while back I went offline with Steam to avoid this issue. Although I purchased the season pass before the game came out, I wasn't all that interested in the latest DLC so I skipped it until I was sure that F4SE and any mod I used had caught up. Once that happened I went ahead and went back online with Steam and allowed it to update. Unfortunately, I forgot to go back offline once it updated and got caught with the small patch the shortly followed.
  4. Is there any way that Bethesda could work more with the modding community, specifically Silverlock and Nexus, prior to releasing updates? Myself, I would rather forgo an update a few extra days if it gave Silverlock in particular time to update F4SE to the new mod. I mean, Bethesda has been very good to provide mod-ability to the community why not extend that? It becomes very frustrating to be playing along then suddenly have to wait several days to resume play while the community catches up with what was otherwise a minor update.
  5. I'm kind of surprised this hasn't been done yet but it would be nice to see a fully voiced (he only says the one word in response to everything) Hodor companion. Children of Atom rags would fit the character nicely, the modder would just need to capture the essence of his features and bulk. As to voice responses, the scripting (I'm not a modder so if my terminology is incorrect please be kind) for so many NPC's is a simple "yes" to everything, couldn't that voice script be modified to be replaced by a sound file of "Hodor"? A big, simple, STRONG, loyal behemoth follower who doesn't chat your ear off, but pounds enemies into the dirt.
  6. I find it kind of distracting that the power armor HUD, which is displayed on the visor, is visible when you don't have a helmet on (hence, no visor). You can even be in a bare frame, wearing nothing at all, and still see the HUD. What triggers the HUD and is there anyway to remove it from the frame and assign it to all power armor helmets instead? A mod that would only show the HUD when you're wearing a helmet would be far more immersive then what we currently have. Thanks for any consideration.
  7. Good Day, What I'm interested in is a light armor suit that can provide various enhancements by converting radiation to energy to power these enhancements. (Something like the Chinese Stealth Suit?) - The suit itself would have an average weight for full light armor suit with helmet. As is, without power (no radiation available) it would provide only light protection. It would provide complete protection from all radiation, both environmental and consumed, as the suit absorbs radiation from all sources. - The suit would absorb and store radiation which is converted to energy to power various suit enhancements (base level and advanced). - Base level enhancements would include increased strength, increased endurance, increased dexterity, increased perception, increased speed, increased VATS performance, increased armor protection (normal background environmental radiation levels should be sufficient to power these continuously). The HUD would show radiation absorption rate, how much stored energy is available and that basic services are active. - The suit would also store excess energy absorbed beyond base level needs (unlimited or set a maximum stored top limit?) - Advanced services, which are powered from the stored energy, would include enhancements such as night/thermal imaging, stealth field, turbo speed, rebreather, energy field (armor) protection, healing/regeneration. Each enhancement would have it's own rate of energy use with duration/effects only being limited by the amount of stored energy available; the more stored energy the longer the enhancement or greater it's effects (restore player health from a full charge?). - Advanced services would be activated via a PipBoy Menu. Activated services would show up on the HUD with a countdown time remaining indicator (in the case of healing an increasing scale of percentage of full health restored). Sounds simple enough? Any ideas on how this could be accomplished would be greatly appreciated.
