Thanks for the response. Here's a snap. Only thing I can think of that is different between my new PC and my old one (which I never had any problems with regarding NMM) is that I now have both an ssd and a normal hdd. I have the Steam app installed on my SSD, but have all my games installed on the HDD since it was larger in size, thus I had to change the normal default Steam directory for all my games to a custom one on the HDD. I don't know if this makes any difference, but it's all I could think of.

Ever figure out the solution? I'm having the same problem. Just built a new pc, downloaded NMM so I can start modding Skyrim, and can't seem to get past this stupid and senseless error. Your post was literally the only valid result regarding the problem that I could find on Google.

Was wondering if there was a way to make a mod that would show what crafting components you will get from an item before actually looting the item? Like maybe if you're looking in a container and you mouse over all the junk in the container, maybe a separate window for each item pops up that displays this information. I dunno. I can't keep track of what every item I end up looting turns into during the crafting process, and unfortunately, "tagging" an item doesn't necessarily tell me a whole lot either. There are certain components that I need more than others at certain times, which makes the whole "tagging" system sorta useless unless I want to constantly go back and tag/untag items.
Thanks!
