  1. Use nexus mod manager to find out what number the mod is in the loadlorder, lets for example assume its 09.

the code for the mask is XX390100 , you replaced the xx with the number of the mod in the loadorder, 09 for this example.

So if you want to add the mask to your inventory, open the console with tilde and type player.additem 09390100

  2. This new beta addressed a really annoying bug I was not certain was in the game or my computer being stressed (for after the beta the ini was changed so the shadows got set to high, what before the patch was performance killing in my machine), the single fact the performance is yet better than before with the graphics enhanced say good to me.

People bashed to nausea Beth not testing enough... now bashes to nausea for doing. I understand the frustration but what I'm not really sure is why the "hatred" scaled to that point. When facing a deadline be prepared for "at least" 10% error margin (20% is more reasonable) was what I learned being simultaneously at the two sides, being pushed by angry users who almost never knew what they wanted (notice I talk about corporation department bosses asking for changes in their systems or totally new functions, not willing to compare with the actual situation here where the user know exactly what he wants) and then needing to pressure the programing staff to put out whatever they were tasked on the schedule.

Still, this does not change a bit that the deadline was not even reached yet, until then all I see (hear? read?) are screams of knee pain before the arrow was ever launched.

The problem is not that they patch, the problem is that for some small fixes they make SKSE incompatible. Also they promised it would be out somewhere in january, well tomorrow is the last day of january and I dont see them bringing the patch 1 day after they released a beta bugfix.

  3. Are any of the aforementioned solutions really necessary? It seems as simple as asking for the same thing as "Visible Favorited Items" or "Visible Off-Hand Scabbard for Dual Wield". The same concept would apply, in my head.

Just add a slot for every weapon on your favorites menu, and set a maximum of 8 possible slots on your body where each weapon would be displayed. (Whether it displays or not would be contingent on whether or not it was bound to a hotkey. In essence, this would allow you to select where what weapon is displaying on your body.)

The trouble with this would be determining the animation for selecting the weapon. To make it realistic, you'd have to add several new animations for grabbing at different parts of the body.

It's simpler than that of course, since you're only wanting it for the bow. In which case, whoever took this up could do the above process only to the bow. I'm not sure if it is exactly as I describe, but it seems like it would/should be.

Its impossible because when you would equip a weapon the other weapon would disappear, it cant be done when they are catagorized as weapons, hence you need to go to armor and accesoires.

  4. Well I tried reading it, found it impossible.

could you try with fewer spelling mistakes?

It's not that bad. On topic, it might be hard to get the balance right, but it's an intriguing idea. Maybe refine it based on the quality of the gem, if someone were to do it - flawless holds more than normal ruby, perhaps. Or hell, maybe use a charged gem in jewelcrafting to add a small bonus to whatever you're making, without sacrificing the enchanting slot. That would be *really* hard to balance properly, but fun maybe.

I think a possibility would be too make them craftable potions, and with a script remove so much health/stamina/magicka removed according to the potion u made.

  5. It would be possible to make the quiver and bow as a necklace for example, or any other slot: Im not sure which slots for equipment skyrim has, but in oblivion it could be done by making them amulets, would have too change the mesh etc though
  6. Meh, if anyone does buy them out, I'm betting it will be EA. They're known for gobbling up every studio they come across, and they're one of the few publishers with the type of cash to actually take a risk like this.

If they do, STALKER 2 will probably become a linear corridor shooter with it's entire focus on action and none of the atmosphere or survival horror parts of old. And it will probably only be 4 hours long.

well atleast the 4 hours is longer than the COD singleplayer ._.

  7. Can we focus on who would publish it? Thanks

    On topic

I'll bet most likely publisher would be Atari, just that they are closer to the developers. I hope that Zenmax doesn't touch STALKER, I hate them with a passion :verymad:

As long as its not Activision or EA :O

  8.

Its true that there are a lot of bad PC ports, they just copy all the Xbox things basically, sometimes a bit of a graphic fix.

I havent seen a lot of good multi platform ports lately :(

Deus Ex Human Revolution worked well on the consoles, and also had a great PC port with a redesigned PC-centered UI of its own and tons of graphics options.

Also, STALKER 2 is not dead. :)

(Edit: Thor1 actually beat me to it a couple posts back)

thats why I said not a lot :) Skyrim was a awful port though :(

  9. The Witcher 2 is PC exclusive, and did very well I think, its coming out for xbox this year but still.

All total war games were and are PC exclusive, I dont think they did badly.....

TW2 was a console game dressed up for PC, you are better off using a gamepad to play the game rather than the good old keyboard and mouse. All TW games and RTS's in general require more management, something that consoles don't provide at the moment. I'm not saying that all PC exclusives will fail but for a company to expand they need something sustainable to keep them going, in the end is business. I would blame the developer for bad ports (I'm looking at you Beth :verymad: ) and for not catering for all platforms, regardless of their hardware.

  10. The issue isn't that the porting is the developers fault, the issue is that if there aren't console counterparts there can't be porting issues. :P

Or we just say bai to Xbox and PS3 and buy it all on the superior platform :)

  11. I'm just really worried considering it's going to be multi-plat. Hell knows the PC needs more exclusives. :<

PC exclusives isn't going to account for the rising cost of production in the video gaming industry. If you want a good game, you have to expand into other platforms and insure that the a) profits meet the base bugdet of the product and b) be sustainable enough to expand the company into other ventures. I don't see what the problem is for games to expand into consoles as long as they are compadable with the platform they are in. If a game isn't working in one platform or another (regardless of console or PC), then it's the developer's fault for not porting it properly, not consoles or PC.
