  1. Thank you all for the replies. In regards to what to what types of mods I am wanting to make, I am interesting in making custom weapons/armors and to providing collisions/physics for said weapons/armors. Hopefully this can help with providing answers in regards to the specifics of types of softwares/tools.
  2. I am looking to get into Skyrim modding. With that being said, I have been having a difficult time determining what kinds of softwares/tools are needed for modding Skyrim. What version of 3DS Max is required? What version of Nifskope is required? How is collision created? How are physics created? Are they made with Havok Content Tools? If so, what version? I understand that Special Edition is more stable/the go to for modern Skyrim modding. --Is the preferred method for Skyrim modding to create mods as Oldrim mods, then convert them to Special Edition? ---If so, what are the pros/cons? Any help would be appreciated. If there are articles/forums that give an overview of required softwares/tools, that would be appreciated.
  3. Thank you for the reply. Looking online, I had come across a few reference to 'SeventySix - ATX_Main.ba2' and 'SeventySix - ATX_Textures.ba2'. Were Atomic Shop files previously archived in the above files? If so, is there a reason why they were lumped into the 'SeventySix - Meshes'?
  4. I recently redownloaded Fallout 76. I was wanting to mess around with the Atomic Shop files (models/textures). I assumed that they are archived as 'SeventySix - ATX_Main.ba2' 'SeventySix - ATX_Textures.ba2'. Looking at my Fallout 76 Data folder, the ATX .ba2's are not there. If anyone could enlighten me, it would be appreciated.
  5. Zorkaz, Thanks for the reply. Love your mods by the way hahah Would you know of any tutorials online that demonstrate how to do this? I looked using a few different phrases/keywords, but nothing of value came up from what I found. Regards, MMB1994
  6. I was wondering if its possible, in the CK, to make an NPC (creatures specifically) change/swap textures depending on their aggression/combat state. See below for a point of reference (1:10) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXpZLQZxh0E
  7. I am dealing with the whole face. I want to ADD a new texture. It is just for one NPC for now. It would only be for custom NPCs. I don't plan on changing vanilla characters.
  8. The .dds files I want to use are face textures/warpaint-like textures. I want to be able to put the .dds file textures on an NPC as well as warpaint. The .dds files add things to the face.
  9. I just realized that 3DNPC.esp has to do with the "Interesting NCPs" mod. So the question still remains, how do I import .dds files into Creation Kit?
  10. Hello everyone. I am fairly new to modding. I am trying to import .dds files into the Creation Kit. They are face textures (stuff like warpaint and what not). I placed the .dds files in: C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\Textures\Actors\Character\FaceGenData\FaceTint\3DNPC.esp Hoping that they would show up in Creation Kit, but with no success. I tried using the "Import" button in the Creation Kit, with no success. I would like to use the textures I am trying to import in conjunction with warpaint. So maybe there is a way to place them in the category of Dirt? Any help would be much appreciated. ---- MMB1994
  11. I did a few days ago. No response yet. I don't know if she is active in the community anymore.
  12. I was hoping someone could replicate this female orc and make her a standalone follower. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/images/120029/?
