NMM says "Nogames were detected! NMM will close".

I had exact same problem. When the scan ran it found the games for which I had mods, but... - Previously I just hit Quickstart and it gave me the above errors. - Then I tried on clicking on the green check marks next to those programs it found first. Then when I click on Quickstart the NMM started perfectly. Hopes this helps someone!
