  1. Wow! That worked thank you Unfortunately now I crash as soon as I receive reward from Jarl of Whiterun
  2. Hi all. Please help :) I would like to request a skin shader for Oblivion to be used with Oblivion Reloaded + ENB. There is an issue with using OR and/or ENB that causes first person transparency for some people when using Ambient Occlusion. Unfortunately, Alenet and Boris have discontinued development of OR + ENB, respectively. The only fix for transparency I have discovered is using OBGE v3 skin shader, but it causes a huge decrease in FPS (up to 20). I am hoping that someone can either create new skin shader -OR- import and optimize OBGE v3 skin shader for OR. Does anyone have some free time who could assist?
  3. Even when the skin shader is turned off in OR? The only OBGE shader I'm using is skin... Is there a way to import OBGE skin into a shader that can be used by OR? This has been the only fix I've found for the first person transparency bug... Kind of annoying!
  4. Hey forli, do you use ENB? Or, do you use OR's AO? If either, do you have the first person transparency bug when using AO? I did and couldn't find a fix until I disabled OR's skin shader and installed OBGE v3's. It seems to have resolved the issue. What would be the consequence of running OBGE's skin shader with OR?
  5. Just use Wrye Bash in conjunction w OBMM (for Darn and for any OMOD exclusive mods) + BOSS
  6. Thanks Bevilex! What is your mod list + load order? How many do you have active? Do you mind sharing in a PM? Would like to compare!
  7. Hi all. I might have found a fix for the OR + ENB Ambient Occlusion bug. The effect from either can sometimes cause your weapon, hand, and shield to be transparent when in first person. I have been trying to figure out how to fix for months now. It's something to do with the skin shader. So I decided to try deactivating OR's skin and installing OBGE v3 skin. So far, it works. I am trying to test it further during certain times of the day and lighting situations. What to do: download/install OR and DISABLE skin shader in it's inidownload/install ENB + your preferred preset, etcdownload OBGE v3.1 RC BAIN Archives and extract OBGE_v31rc4-BAIN.7z + OBGE_Skin_v31rc1-BAIN.7zinstall *ONLY* 00 Base + 01 Core from OBGE_v31rc4-BAIN folderinstall OBGE Skinenjoy the AO!Can someone else try this out to see if this works for them, too? Are there any problems that might happen using OR and OBGE together?
  8. Yes. Alenet got tired of people asking the same questions that could be answered just by reading the ReadMe... Anyway, OR is amazing. The performance is a lot better too. However it does have a bunch of extra features you have to turn off. My main problem is that the AO when using either ENB + OR can causes a first person transparency glitch. I think the fix might be using OBGE v3's Skin shader... Trying to test out this theory today.
  9. Was also referred to Process Lasso - https://bitsum.com/ Seems to do the same thing!
  10. Cool. I think I might crack open Sfon mod. If anything, I also remember All Natural having something similar to RedBag or Morrowind fog settings... Will try that out and let you know! Thanks, Contrathetix :)
  11. Hi all. I'd like to make a request... Does anyone know if there is a way to get All Natural to work with Sfon DeltaNovus LOD Fog mod? Sfon description says that they will conflict: http://www.nexusmods...ion/mods/25052/ Pls lmk :)
  12. Yeah I asked Vorians if they'll ever create a performance friendly version of BC, but if they haven't done it yet, I doubt they ever will. Going to play around with OSR settings later today. Also - Does anyone know about this?
  13. Thanks for such a thorough reply  I understand not recommending settings for OSR since it seems very system specific. I use heap 6 and size 768, but when I go to 1024 the game crashes. I am going to try heap 1 and play around with some of the critical sections. For me the most significant improvement to FPS was PYFFI'ing the meshes. I also used the fog mod in my previous post with pretty good results, except that mod doesn't work well with other weather mods... Also I've been told to try using 2 cores for Oblivion using Process Hacker (http://processhacker.sourceforge.net/) and to try unpacking cores (see here) Has anyone had experience with this?
  14. Thanks for the info, Striker879! The fellas over at Bethsoft forums also told me I should probably avoid OC'ing for the game. But would you be able to help with my questions about OSR? Will that help improve FPS? I also remember using this fog mod to increase FPS: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/25052 However it's not compatible with weather mods... Is there any way to patch?
