  3. Well, if I may make a couple of suggestions: There's a fantastic mod called Travelers, which adds generic NPC's to the Wasteland and settlements. Now, inside this mod, there's a script for certain NPC's which makes them pickpocket you as they walk past. Now, I'm thinking that would be fantastic in a gritty, seedy, desperate underworld like you're picturing, and if you could get permission from the modder to use that script, that'd be awesome. Oooh, and you NEED sewers, I cannot stress that enough. Not like in Old Olney or the Jefferson Memorial, I'm thinking narrow mazes with yellow down-lights and monsters (or maybe bandits) at every corner. The more I read about this mod, the more I keep thinking about Judge Dredd, now that was a fantastic comic. I don't know if it's exactly what you're thinking, but you could take some cues from that. Such as the rooftop parties that I saw a couple of times.
  4. So, I've seen screenshots of people who are using the Darnified UI, and they have things like a Rad counter and clock on-screen at all times. I might be missing something here, but I have no idea how to apply that to my own HUD. can anyone help me please?

  6. Ok cool, I can usually manage a fight (Without VATS, meaning I don't stutter or slow down) in the Tenpenny Tower lobby, even with a hundred or so mods running. Thanks for the info.
  7. Err, just one question- how big is the poly count in the actual arena? I don't have the greatest computer in the world.... Perhaps, once you get the mod completed, you could have 2 or 3 different Arena versions- a high poly count one, with loads of effects, and clutter, and obstacles, a mid-range one, with basic stuff, and a low-end arena which would be basically a room with old building pillars in the corners, and a few obstacles like crates strewn about. And you know, make 3 copies of your Arena.esp (or whatever it's called) and edit the arena in each one accordingly. Also, how about Arena side-quests and side-bets? For side-quests, something like helping a captive combatant escape, or smuggling in a powerful weapon for somebody? And side-bets, such as, kill a combatant using only your bare fists, or kill a combatant without V.A.T.S. Or are you working on a way to disable V.A.T.S. during fights? :P
  8. Heh, sorry I haven't popped in lately, I've been busy playing a different Post-Apocalyptic Survival Game... Anyway, that suit looks great so far, perhaps you could add some plates to the forearms, and the elbows, and beef up the shoulders a little? Just a little. And may I recommend streamlining the ankles? And as for the ladies' suit, well hehe, I have a few ideas for that. Get back to me on PM and we can discuss it, no?
  9. Hey, now you have a good idea for the normal map for the helmet, as in you can gauge how shiny/dull it should be by those shots up there. Just think of it as medium indoor lighting....

  20. Well, that's a good idea but it's not really accurate, because everyone with Power Armour in the game can understand you just fine. Maybe a sound modulator, that makes everything sound odd?
  21. I wanna see tons of casings littering the ground once I've mowed all opposition down with my minigun. Is it possible to increase the maximum instances of these casings, and if so how easy/hard is it?

I think that this problem should first be addressed with a simple overlay while wearing a Power Helmet: http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn291/FullMetalPatriot/helmet.jpg Something simple which conveys the impression of wearing a high-tech helmet. It should have Night Vision (maybe that can be toggled) and a constricting FOV, but probably something better than that rush-job I did up there. Most players WANT to wear Power Armour because it gives so many bonuses with so few offsets, and this FOV decrease should be an offset.
