  3. so im on my bi-yearly lotr binge and i really want so use some lotr mods for my new playthrough. i already have the lotr weapons mod (though i wish i could craft them somewhere other than the moon forge but i digress) im looking for a mod that adds in armor based on the nazgul. so far all i have found is a steam workshop mod for oldrim and another oldrim mod on the nexus. the problem is that the nexus mod is exactly what im looking for https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/95202/ but the author is no longer supporting the mod and the armors cause CTDs whenever they're on screen. so far i have only been able to find this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/8856. not exactly what i want sense there is no mask and i would rather do without the catholic overtones within it. anyone have any ideas?

I honestly can't believe that its 2019 and we still don't have a mod that lets you join the better assassins guild. i've only seen one mod that let you "join" them. and that was a mod that just replaces the dark brotherhood armor with the morag tong armor from dragonborn. i just want to be able to join them and playthrough a questline about the length of the other guilds through gameplay rather than roleplaying in my head ya know? and idc if they "don't exist" outside of Morrowind traditionally, I've been attacked more times than i can count by their members in Skyrim bc the character i was playing as was park of the dark brotherhood so I believe this overrules that. my idea is that somewhere in Solstheim (maybe hidden under the tavern similar to their base in Morrowind) they have an outpost with a few members and grandmaster to cover the island. I think that the player should not be able to join them if they are already a member of the DB, as the DB are sworn enemies and traitors to the MT. But if the player has already destroyed the DB or not joined them than they can join the MT, although the player can betray the MT and join the DB after killing the members through an optional quest given by the Night Mother to embrace the darkness of the dread lord. Eventually the player will be given a quest (near the end of this questline) to destroy the DB forever. The player will be given writs of execution like is Morrowind and carry out the task. And like in morrowind if caught by a guard the player can present the writ and their bounty will be removed. I feel that the questline will center around building up the MT in Solstheim and maybe even Skyrim itself, IIRC there's a bit of lore that says they MT were almost wiped out during the Argonian invasion so this questline could be their way of gaining their original power and influence. I love the idea of the MT, legal assassins that make sure the three house don't go into war and are in fact respected by those house. Don't get me wrong, i like the DB too i mean, they came to be bc a member of the MT was influenced by sithis and killed their sect for the dread lord. but i just feel that the MT are superior to the DB. especially in skyrim the DB are but a shadow of their former glory. i have no mod creating experience myself other than converting oldrim mods to sse, and even then i have about a 60/40 success rate. but i do have a lot of ideas for some mods.
  5. unfortunately i do not know how to make mods at all. trying to convert mods to sse caused me some difficulty in and of itself. converting textures, unpacking and repacking meshes/textures after conversion so on so forth. so far i have only been able to convert a few mods with the ck, archive tool, and the bsa unpacker. id be more than happy to help and learn along the way, don't get me wrong. just a forewarning on my lack of skill/resources
  6. i know i loved this mod for my thief character and my Dunmer build, loved becoming high king of skyrim while selling drugs to everyone lol. like i said, i tried converting myself with the help of the guide but with no success. then again, i am new to converting mods and not that good at it. hence why im here asking others for help ha ha ha. maybe you could try it and see what and where i went wrong hopefully
  7. this mod seems cool but not really what im looking for. this mod just allows players to be able to make skooma, Redwater Skooma and Double-Distilled Skooma and change the prices of how much they cost when you sell them in stores. "Become a Skooma Dealer" lets players make all of these with the addition of Belmora Blue, blood skooma, and sleeping tree sap. then the player can talk to any npc and try to sell the skooma to them. some npcs will only take basic skooma while some will only take the other kinds or any. some npcs will not take skooma unless your speech skill is high enough, i.e. guards. thanks for the reply btw. i appreciate the help and feed back
  8. has anyone tried converting "Become a Skooma Dealer" by MimiTheAlchemist? i tried converting the mod myself by following the guide found here https://bethesda.net/community/topic/164350/converting-mods-from-oldrim-to-sse but i could not get the mod to work. all the features of the mod are there but i cannot get the dialogue to work and the merchants added to the mod will not open a store menu. all the dialogue options are there but they are not activating as they should. has anyone tried converting this mod themselves or could help me figure out what is going wrong? or if anyone has made a mod similar to this one for SE
