Pelucks

Hi, im new in this mod thing, wanted to play Dark Souls again e added some extra things. I googled the best mods for it and intalled them, but how do i know that they are exactly working? I think the texture mod are working cause I THINK its prettier but its been some years since i played it. But the DoA isnt, there are no corpse droped at the beginig and the door on the first boss still open. And as you can see, in the nexus its green and enablebld, what do i do?
