So I went ahead and reinstalled Skyrim when I was tripping around youtube and found Brodual's "Transforming Skyrim Series: Dark Fantasy" seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gr8XlcFY57U Fell in love with a spooky darker skyrim. I went ahead and used Blean enb as described in the video.... and quite frankly... it doesn't work with Supreme and Volumetric Fog, which.... is kind of the point of the overhaul. But I went with it anyway. Started adding mods. Started playing and overall, I liked the Bleak coloring.. it wasn't bad, but without the fog, it just doesn't appeal to me. I want a Pacific Northwestern United States feel. Environmentally. Lots of overcast. Lots of rain. Lots of fog. Heavy fog. But under all of that fog and grey can be deep lush greens and vibrant colors (when I lived in Seattle I had a neighbor with Japanese oaks and in some weathers it looked amazing). I have a pretty extensive mod list which I add below which runs stable and with decent FPS for my rig, but there are problems I see now, the Dark Fantasy trees "pop" into view way too closely, my windmills have 2 sets of sails on them (even at distance), and I get low poly flickering on some mountains and in Whiterun in places. So with all of that I am at a point where I'm ready to wipe it clean. Start again. And hopefully this time get it right. Game play wise. I'd like to play a spellsword or magical assassin type. I like Khajiits or Wood Elves. And I know I do want to play survival style (Frostfall and iNeeds etc). I want a little more difficulty, but I hated Revenge of the Enemies. I could not even come close to beating the Druagr at the end BLB for the dragonstone. And while some like that, I want a challenge, not a complete ass kicking Im not capable of coming close on. I'm just looking for a combination of enb, weather and lighting. Ive been away from skyrim and modding for a long time. And I know much has probably changed.
