  1. Thank you for posting. Reinstalling the game is a dead end, I've done it a million times. There's nothing to gain there, there's gotta be something fundamental which keeps this game from running. The other fix you linked seems a bit scary imho opinion, I think messing around with RAM-addressing in the OS is taking things a bit too far. This has the potential to mess up your entire Operative System, all I'm trying to do is get Fallout to run here man. But anyways, thank you for the tips nonetheless
  2. Hello, I've been trying to get this game running for a couple of days now and I've tried _every_possible_solution out there. It is just insane, I don't get why it just isn't running by now. It just directly crashes to desktop, I've never even seen so much as the main menu of the game and it's getting pretty frustrating by now. Here is a list of things I've done: The Thread Number Fix Patched to 1.7 Compatilbility Mode for every Windows OS since the dawn of time Alternate d3d9.dll tried it with Fose tried it with FOMM Tried the Inofficial Patch And just basically every other fix there is out there. I've checked out the Bethesda official Forums too, but they refuse to admit that this game has some major stability issues and just blame it on every irrelevant little thing they can come up with. So yeah, I'm getting insane from This. I even made an XP Partition just to get this game running but still no go. Oblivion works like a charm, never even had so much as a problem with it. I'm guessing this can be a Microsoft issue as well as i remember playing this game on the same computer a couple of years ago on Windows 7, but now it simply won't work. Here is my DxDiag btw, Hope you guys have any longshots that I can try! Thank you for all your advice //Aersson
