I too get long load times. I have ssds. Dont know what they fixed about radiants, but im still force fed mm quests.
-
Auto is relatively ineffective because of the damage formula, especially at high difficulty. For instance, the minigun does ~1 dmg per bullet to well armored targets on survival. If it had something like 95% AP it would do ~2 dmg per bulllet. One shot from a powerful 10mm does way more. So even though auto usually only drops 25% dmg, you need 4 times as many hits (or more).
-
Anyone tried the barbarian approach on survival? Since you can't quickly replenish health, I think that would make it nearly impossible. You'd definitely have to be a junkie.
-
At least a few important fixes. Does that bit about MM radiants mean we arent force fed now?
-
Shooters encourage and reward good reflexes... that's it... the only major decision to make in fallout 4 is which gun to use ;P.
Not really that major... because of how they did the damage and armor formula half the guns becomes useless by mid game.

You're saying you want your servant to be black... racist!
-
Its been delayed because of all the small frequent patches.

Probably after the second of the small frequent patches... in Feb maybe

Anyone know how to change the rotation axis of buildable objects? Eg, when you rotate an object while building it spins on the Z (vertical) axis... I want to spin an object on X or Y (horizontal), mostly for wall mounted stuff. I think the 'bounds' are just the volume of the object, I can't quite figure the transform stuff though... don't know if it's just scaling or if it can control stuff like rotation as well.
-
I like the semi-scaling approach. I dont like the bullet sponge approach to "increase" difficulty. 20 headshots to kill is not difficult, its stupid.

I label the offending settler and come back at night as Mr. Sandman. How many time do i have to tell people, those suits are for display ONLY!

I only clicked this post because my brain saw Shaun of the Dead and thought it would be a fun mod.

Downvoting is a bad idea for mods. But turning off the endorsement reminder is a good idea, because yes there are mods i dont endorse (even some that i use, we all have our own criteria for endorsement).
-
Ya know what... I just want total sharing between linked workshops... stash, resources, place-able objects... anything less is just a nuisance.
-
I'll endorse how I like.

Does anyone have or know how to dump the weapon and mod data into a table. Obviously i can read it with FO4edit, but it doesnt really have a dump option.

The problem is they 'forgot' to specify a 980 ti as the minimum specs.
If you are asking why such a high requirement, I suspect they have some kind of secret application embedded in the game that uses your GPU to calculate world domination... this obviously take a toll and hurts game performance.
no difference. even with ultra low qual mods, 30-40 fps in cities. i have only my malware core drivers running and besides that, every other application i use often is closed and does not impact my system stress. fallout usually only uses %22 CPU and %22 ram. it all loads from a HDD
Exactly! If the game doesn't detect a 980 ti it switches to craptacular mode. You could have 2x 970 ti and it would utilize %10 and run like crap.
-
Would be cool to just be able to set outfit config for ctrl-1,2,3.

It would feel bigger if I didn't avoid all the city areas because of horrible FPS drops.
-
That's nice... those things are huge by default. They really should have consulted an electrician for this game.
-
Just tell him not to goto city areas and he should be able to play fine.

I've seen people have used RadeonPro as well as the framerate control target in the Crimson AMD drivers to cap framerate after disabling vsync, but neither work for me. I tried both windowed and fullscreen with both but my framerate still goes way over the limit. Any ideas on why this doesn't work for me?

Opting into the latest beta wiped my installation...so after having to download %90 of a game I bought a hard copy of (the Pip-Boy edition), which also cost me over $100 more because I'm on a limited bandwidth ISP, I now get to download the complete thing all over again?
Bite me...I bought a hard copy, I want a full friggin' HARD COPY (don't mind downloading updates, mind you).
Yeah, that was a dick move. I was pissed when i installed my copy only to realize it wasnt installed... and in fact takes about 24 hours to install.
Does your character use chems? Which ones the most?

I play on survival (end 2) and was a Psychobuff + Med-X junkie until around level 40. Still use psycho for bullet sponges but don't need the buff and med-x anymore. I also pop grape mentats for big hauls. I would use overdrive but can't find any (I've found maybe 4 up to level 56).
Fun fact, the Silver Shroud is a HUGE junkie! I decided to use the silver submachinegun to do that arc and it necessitated all the drugs at my disposal because even tricked out that SMG was like a BB gun vs tank for all the targets.
