If the total value is less than 5 the actor has a crippled bodypart. You could do this opposite way and return false for each limb that is ok and then check LimbsCripple == 0. This should be functional but could probably be shortened a lot.
  2. Thanks for trying Anlashok. I'm not using Factions in the same way as you so those concerns aren't a worry, but if I do try to get them working in that way and solve your problems I'll let you know.
  3. To my knowledge that is true in Oblivion. However, as far as I can tell AddtoFaction is a new function in FO3 that allows a single actor to be in a different faction to its base object. I have to add the base object to the faction via scripting as otherwise it will cause compatibility errors with mods changing base objects. The problem I am having is that if I use say, CrCentaur.SetFactionRank SAMPLEFACTION 0 I am told that the function must use an explicit reference to a single actor in that context. I cannot use a reference to a base object (CrCentaur). So how do I add a base object to a faction via scripting.
  4. Question: How can I add all creatures with the same base object to a faction via scripting? Both SetFactionRank and AddtoFaction seem to require an explicit reference.
  5. Probably the creepiest thing to happen to me was to be caught outside in the night sneaking through the DC area. I eventually found a deserted camp for raiders and wandered around it, stealing everything and wondering where the raiders were. I then hear a fight break out. I turn around and a Supermutant is stood right behind me, towering (I'm crouched) and pointing a big sledgehammer towards my head. I did NOT survive. After I reloaded I found that the raiders had been attacked by mutant, but all of them had gone after the centaurs the mutant had with him. I just drew the short straw and got the big one.
  6. The G15 Keyboard is a keyboard that features among other useful, well , features, a small LCD screen. This screen can be used to readout information from the computer it is connected to or from the internet, such as RSS Feeds, Core Temperatures or Game Stats. For Oblivion someone created a plugin for this screen that displayed a little bit of information about your health and magicka if I recall correctly. To throw the idea out here, a G15 plugin for Fallout 3 would be very much appreciated. Maybe Health, AP, Carry Weight as a first basic plugin (Health and AP you can't get specific values for without pausing, and Carry Weight you can't get any values for without pausing!), and to evolve from that to include readings of effects affecting the player or what the current quest objective is. It could also display those miscellaneous stats when they update, for fun. Just throwing out the idea as I said. The above is a wishlist of features, not what would be needed in the first version (If this comes to fruition, that is!)
  7. As I understand it, it's because the wasteland has a set level of water so that the water in the rivers don't rise higher than other places. Then, when things such as puddles, reservoirs etc. are needed up high, placeable water statics are used.
