Any chance someone could make a mod to fix the game crashing in Vocation Menu? Sooooo many people could use a mod like that even though it's a bug. Whether it's a workaround to let you get new skills or whatever else... the game is unaplayable for so many of us right now. D8 It's pretty sad.

I know that it's early into the modding for this game, but I'm noticing that all the mods coming out are mostly cheats and texture changes. There really isn't anything relating to new spells nor mods that say, have Sebastian or Poppy follow you on your post-game adventures. I'm wondering if those types of mods are possible without access to the "creation kit" or whatever the hogwarts equivalence would be to that for Skyrim? It'd help me know what to expect. For me this is sort of determining whether I'll get the PC version or just stick with the console one alone.

[Mod Request] Companion as Follower Mods
KazaiChan replied to KazaiChan's topic in Hogwarts Legacy's Discussion
Oh wow, really?! That is super cool. Hope someone can make a dialogue option or a new spell version that's not an unforgivable curse. xD "Unbreakable Vow" might be a good option. lol -
lo Do you also think ginger beer is real beer too? lol this is Europe. Why wouldn't they be able to drink alcohol?

I'm not sure if anyone has suggested this before, but it feels like an obvious idea for a popular mod. This request would be a mod that will allow you to have Sebastian, Ominis, Poppy, etc as followers after you beat their quest lines. You could simply talk to them and they will follow you for the post-game. I honestly am not sure why this isn't already a feature in the game, but this mod would add playability to the post-game. I'm wondering, would such a mod be difficult to make? The game already has points in it where they will follow you. Seems like this would be an easy mod to make?

So, there are a few different bugs which can occur in skyrim which lead to music looping. One of these is the combat music looping. I'm experiencing a different bug myself right now which has one of the environmental ambience music looping and it will not stop. I'm not sure which ambient music it is either. To help fix problems like these I have two different mod ideas: 1. A mod which tells you which music/song is playing right now. This way people could use the removemusic "song title here" to end the loop and fix the problem. 2. A mod which will "reboot" all active music so that the slate is clean again and music can progress normally.

So I had been playing without sound for a long time and so I have no idea when this problem started. I finally started playing with Skyrim with sound again (because I moved back into my own place) and I realized the music is stuck with like a really boring barely audible song (sounds like it's maybe the cave exploration music but I'm not sure) and it will not change. It doesn't matter if I enter combat or change areas, sleep at a tavern, whatever... I am STUCK with this music unless I revert to a super old save or start new games. I am at a loss for how to fix the music issue so that I can hear other songs again. Does anyone have any ideas for a fix or know a mod that might be a solution? I heard that there is a way to end looping music with a removemusic command? Unfortunately I don't even know how to find the name of this song in order to even try it. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Hi all. I found a mod some time ago that lets you import characters from your old game into your new game as NPCs. I cannot find that mod anymore, but I know I saw it showcased on youtube. Does anyone know which mods can do this? EDIT: Nevermind! Found it! It's called Familiar Faces!

I spent hours searching and finally found it! Sepolcri: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34105?tab=description

I'm fairly certain it doesn't have graveyard or cemetery in the name. I'll make sure I link it back here if I find it again. >.< Man I wish I had favorited it. xD

Last week I came across an amazing mod that I was planning to use which overhauled the graveyards/tombstones of Skyrim. It looked spectacular and I had it open on my desktop until it crashed and forgot about it. Well, I'm wanting to download it now, but searching for graveyard or cemetery on nexus mods does not bring it up as a result, surprisingly!!! I remember the mod had a really weird name, but I can't remember for the life of me what it was. Does such a mod sound familiar to anyone? If so, could you help me find it?

SSE Interested in Learning Location Patches
KazaiChan posted a topic in Skyrim's Creation Kit and Modders
Hi all! So I've been playing skyrim for a while now and have been adding a lot of mods... but I've grown interested in learning how to create patches for incompatible location mods (i.e. two mods that edit whiterun for example). The only problem is I don't really know where to start looking for information on how to do this. I've found a number of instructional videos for how to patch item problems and that kind of thing. Are there any guides people recommend for learning this kind of stuff? I feel like there's probably helpful information posted on this forum or elsewhere, but there is so much information in various places on this site that I'm just not sure where to start. I would love advice if anyone could help me? Are there any tutorials you recommend? Thank you! -
Okay, I may have phrased the title weirdly, but my question is the following: When you are using a textures, obviously you can take a hit in your FPS. However, lets say you have an 8k texture in Riften, could that effect your frame rate while you're in Windhelm, or out in a forest somewhere? Does merely having loads of textures accumulate and potentially affect your FPS even if you're in a cell with no affected textures? Thanks!

Some mods add great "villains" underwater such as Skyrim Underground (in addition to vanilla's Slaughterfish). The main problem is there's no way to really fight them aside from standing at the edge and hoping they come close to you. The solution to this would be combat underwater. I know there is extreme difficulty in allowing people to "fight" underwater. I found one mod that allows this but it's incompatible with FNIS. I'm wondering if it'd be possible/easy for someone to make a mod that allows you to use Shouts underwater which would not conflict with most other mods. This way the dovakiin wouldn't be completely useless when submerged. Another option (if "all" shouts can't be enabled) would be to create a single new shout that can be used and is destructive underwater.
