  1. I don't know if their are others, but Mark and Recall allows you to add map markers. Apparently, you have to buy a "Book of Mark" before you can set the markers - I have the mod, just not got around to getting hold of the book yet, so I can't say how well it works just yet. Thank you! The book is quite expensive at Moira's place, but my barter skill is also low.
  2. Sorry to bump, but I'd really like to continue with an unbroken game. I've already tried disabling DC interiors mod, but that didn't work.
  3. With the help from the previous responder I cleaned up my load list and that seems to have helped with most crashes. However now I have that huge hole in the subway, see the picture in my previous post.
  4. Is there a mod that allows you to place your own map markers? I discover quite a few locks and terminals that I can't open yet, and would like to be able to get back to them when I have the required skill.
  5. The crashing has mostly stopped. However, now I encountered this in the subway: http://imgur.com/NQOBw.jpg ghouls were actually falling through the gaps. Any idea what could be causing this? It's a shame, these mods are really awesome, but it is a lot of work to get them all together and make them work.

  7. I've played through vanilla Fallout 3 once. Recently I bought the GOTY edition and wanted to play with mods. I've installed quite a few and it seemed to be working okay.   8. The drive in theater is a great idea. It could show old movies that don't fall under copyright anymore. I guess I'll just have to do a lot of tweaking and testing mods before I start my next run through Fallout.   10. *title seems to have failed, should have been: Wouldn't it be great if there was a community effort to make an essential Fallout 3 Mod Pack I've ordered the Fallout 3: GOTY with all the expansions on it. And I'm planning my second run through the game on much higher difficulty. I would really like to start my game with Fallout 3 being modded to one of the best games it can be (I know the 'best' mods are highly subjective). But after browsing many mods it seems like it's really difficult to decide which are best for my game, and all the work it will take a lot of work to get all the mods working well and together in my run. If users of mods and modders could come together somehow and reach some sort of agreement on which mods really make Fallout better. Then maybe a pack could be created where every mod has been tested for compatibility. This could be installed like a standard windows installer with many custom options, like enabling/disabling and configuring certain mods. And also maybe some typical installer options like only visual tweaks, or only gameplay difficulty mods, quest mods, etc. After running this installer Fallout should work with these mods without having to have done tweaks and hacks to make mods work. Not only would this make the experience of using mods much more convenient and fun, it would also open up all the great work modders have made to the not so tech-savvy Fallout 3 players, who otherwise might never come in contact with mods. This would require quite some efforts on the part of the community to test mods for compatibility and quality, and then compiling them all in some easy to install program which might become a quite large download, but I'm sure we could find some hosting for that (like torrents). However I think the work might be worth it because it would make working with mods much more fun and easy, and it would improve the already great game a lot more.
