  1. I'm having the exact same problem. I made my own cover to The Elder Scrolls Theme a few days ago and decided tonight that I'd try replacing Skyrim's default title screen music with my own song, after 2 hours of tearing my hair out and wondering why it wasn't working I tried downloading 3 mods that replace the title music that were made by other people and these aren't working either. I do, however, have the initial intro sequence movie disabled and I'm not sure whether or not this is related to the issue, but I can't for the life of me enable it again so I don't know if having the loading movie disabled is causing this. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. Edit: To clarify, the problem isn't caused by my own lack of understanding of the process or neglecting any steps. I've gone through the entire process of replacing the title screen music, from converting the WAV file into XWM to placing it into Data\music\special to even creating a BSA file accompanied by a dummy ESP. I've done all of this, and more, numerous times without a successful result.
